  1. I think for the sake of this thread we should really be avoiding extremes like Dwayne. Sure, you might long to have his body, but really for almost everyone in here it's such a silly thing to desire given his genetics and obvious steroid use. I'm not ranting against steroids here, but it just seems silly in my mind for him to be your ideal physique
  2. 67R is seriously clutching at straws for "GTR" imo
  3. Hell yes dinner. I still need to sort that shit out though.
  4. It's like a Where's Wally picture - you've got no f**king idea where Wally is and you spend forever scratching your head, but once you've found him you'll always remember exactly where he was. People don't understand because it makes near on zero sense lol. I have no f**king idea what YLD-67R is supposed to mean.
  5. I believe that it's one of the 4 studs on the turbo flange, so he can bring the manifold to the welder.
  6. God damnit Pat you wanker. I'm disappointed.
  7. I reckon you'd have a bit of fun trying to use a shitty arc welder for the first time! hahaha
  8. Take note that I'm in the passenger's seat
  9. Sounds like someone is trying to remove a stud
  10. lol, this. I've been at the gym on a Saturday evening before and had one repeat offender walk in and literally do nothing but bicep curls on the cables using the rope handle, flex in the mirror, and walk out. I was speechless.
  11. Nope, should be fine. I'm making "295rwkw" through 2.5" piping
  12. Oh also actually on topic - I pretty much got given a tub of that Albutarex shit today. Will comment on how it's going over the next week or so. So far it tastes good and I can immediately tell it's just loaded to the shithouse with caffeine.
  13. Ah yes, sort of. The snowboarding injury caused my head/face to get pushed down into my chest, in turn causing "anterior wedging" of my T5 vertebra, with a 20% loss of anterior height as a result. Not the same area of injury, though undoubtedly somehow related to the cause of my most recent ailment. The moment I move into a different house with more garage space than where I currently live, I'll be getting my own cheap and basic setup. I'll still have a gym membership, but the ability to deadlifts, squats, and potentially bench at home whenever I please would be great. This. I was about to say exactly what Tolga says here: Haters gonna hate
  14. Mindblasting effort from the guys and girls there Markos, you should ALL be very proud. Super impressed.
  15. Oh yeah I definitely agree that there'd be a large increase in risk doing it, though I wasn't "relaxing" as such - more just pausing. I wouldn't have a hope in the world of getting it back up again if I actually relaxed haha. Though now I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, coz I'm certain my latest lower back/SIJ bullshit was entirely brought on by lifting lol.
  16. f**king LOL
  17. If you're suggesting that caused injury, it never ever gave a remote hint of being an issue. I only did it a couple of times, and that was AGES before my back ate shit.
  18. Given my current situation with deadlifts, I know exactly what you mean I've got deadlifts today. Did 90kg no worries at all last week. No pain, hardly even any muscle soreness. Focussing heaps on locking in my core and keeping a STRAIGHT back (as opposed to almost trying to arch lower back backward) is working well. Will see how 100kg goes today. Last time I deadlifted 100kg for 5 reps, I couldn't get back onto my feet immediately after.
  19. This. Obviously should be read as "Can you do a bodyweight squat to the ground WITH CORRECT FORM?" Since this is almost certainly a rhetorical question, the point is that you should do what Birds has done and go back to a very light weight squatting ass to hells, and work the weight up slowly from there.
  20. Not entirely sure I see the purpose in those sorts of things at all
  21. I remember doing 100kg to the point where you were effectively resting on maximum ROM for 3 seconds - ass on heels - and then standing back up BUT NOT LOCKING OUT KNEES. Repeat for 8 reps. Then try to walk out of gym. The walking part didn't work. Legs said no.
  22. My van is close with YHV-44D
  23. I can see the look on his face right now...
  24. I feel super guilty right now eating some seriously f**king tasty premade "Chinese honey chicken stir fry" entirely because it's using thigh meat.....f**king fat
