  1. WTF is with all you nuffers using electronic boost controllers having MORE boost drop than myself using nothing?
  2. Both arms measure in the same at 13". Measured with arms straight and relaxed. DB skullcrushers I can only do 12kg though, haven't tried with the easycurl bar. Standing easycurl bicep curls my work set (8 reps) is bar +12.5kg each side, for reference to bicep size. Dunno why my dip strength is so good, when freeweight triceps I'm pretty average.
  3. Nah I haven't honestly. I'll do that right now...
  4. Yeah exactly, common courtesy is your best friend in life
  5. hehe cheers mate 8 - 10 reps at that weight too Got a full set of bench dips (feet on one bench, hands on another) with 70kg on my lap too, form dropped off on the last couple though (elbows out). Yet at the same time I struggle with more than 70kg on bench press. FML
  6. Ultimately I could still get pulled up for exhaust being too loud, atmo BOV, HID headlights, and potentially (though unlikely) rear window tint. Plus the cop could defect you on whatever he wanted, you just wouldn't have a problem getting the defect retracted once you got to Dickson if it was issued in error (engineer's cert or just wrong). That being said, like I said above - I've never had any problems with ACT police. In my experience, they've always been very easy going guys. Probably because I'm so goddamn polite and well mannered, even when I'm pulled up for speeding I just get a warning. They've never even looked twice at my car let alone questioned it.
  7. Not simple, your entire car must be legal and in a safe roadworthy condition to get the cert - I got knocked back for being 10mm too low (not ride height), sloppy diff mount, dodgy wheel balancing weights, and exhaust volume.
  8. Cops haven't bothered me for anything, however they will if you give them a reason to. My engineers cert that covers coilovers, camber rod, traction rods, HICAS lock bar, wheels, strut brace, turbo, break lines, FMIC, and steering wheel is setting me back $1046
  9. Require engineers cert
  10. Camber arms and traction rods are cheap anyway, no reason not to when you've already spent $2k+ on the rest
  11. Nothing will ever be that mint or fast. Ever.
  12. Ok, weighed in at 76kg just now. I have done all my weigh-ins at the same time, so this is accurate when compared to previous. Gotta say I'm pretty happy to be back where I was lol. Strength is slowly coming back, really need to work on my mental focus during sets though - seems I have a habit of just smashing out the first few reps with average form causing unnecessary fatigue, then the reps that count are seriously difficult. Worked on this shit for incline DB press and flat DB press this evening with good results. Current work set weights for "push" day as follows: Barbell military press behind head (standing) - 40kg Dumbbell incline press - 28kg/hand Dumbbell flat press - 36kg/hand Dumbbell flies - 16kg/hand Dips - 30kg weighted
  13. Ultimately the cost from stock to 250kw should come to around $7000 not counting any major hiccups, and assuming you either get cheap labour or can do a fair bit yourself.
  14. You'll have to take me for a spin lol....though I still owe taking you for a spin in mine. I can guarantee there's a noticeable difference between how our cars lay down power though, I'd like to see which I like more Unfortunately though, the 2 things I had to buy that you didn't are some of the "cheaper" parts And yeah you'll learn to control boost with your right foot. Whether you'll give a shit about doing it or not is another thing trust me, if you had a high/low boost setup, you'd never use low boost anyway I'm running the ViPEC v44 plug n play heh, hence the price and lack of "z32 AFM" in my purchases.
  15. Swap hands when masturbating
  16. lol, well I discovered not that long ago while swapping my BOV for a blanking plate, that my radiator mounting rubber is shot to shit and therefore radiator was rubbing against the AC hard piping....and wore a hole through it. Was like "wtf is that sound I f**king hope my radiator isn't leaking...oh f**k, it's the AC piping....uhhh....pokerface.jpg"
  17. Mother f**ker lol. For those of you chasing a fantastic street setup - do what Kasko has done. For those of you wishing to see what money looks like when you add a source of ignition, ie a flame - do what I did Off the top of my head, prices not 100% accurate: Turbo - $1480 Dump/front pipe - $190 Injectors - $1200 Fuel pump - $190 Coilpacks - $520 ECU - $1850 misc (includes intake pipe, exhaust mods, catch can, all installations of parts supplied, gaskets and misc parts, lots and lots and lots of f**king around, and tune) - roughly $4000 rough total - $9430 hmmm. However my setup is good to crack well into the low 300kw depending on how happy the dyno is hahaha. I'm slightly jealous of Kasko, mostly because of how cheap his setup was compared to mine....but also slightly because of how fun it must be to drive

    Cce Dyno Day

Here's hoping my car is registered again by then. lol forecast isn't positive.
  19. Was actually thinking about that right now...been meaning to, but getting sick with tonsillitis the other week and having lost 2kg due top not eating had knocked me back a bit. I've recovered about 1kg of that weight so far, but my strength has dropped severely which it's pissing me off. I'll see where I'm at this evening and give a proper update (with pix fo da laydeez) lol
  20. Throttle is variable, not ON/OFF After having driven mine around without a boost controller running 17psi straight off the actuator, I've grown to realise just how wise every f**ker that pipes up in threads saying "control the boost with your right foot" really is. You'll get used to it
  21. Good shit man keen?
  22. Jesus Christ, there really is no satisfying you wankers is there?
  23. Post the pic, Birds is just greedy.
  24. You'll need the paper gasket for the oil drain flange on the turbo. Also need 5L of coolant (just get teh cheapest premix bottle you can find) And a big supply of patience lol
