Probably dodge if things keep lining up with plans I'll try get out, but I'm headed out on the town Saturday night so who knows what time I'll even faceplant my bed, let alone emerge from the coma >.<

Sau A.c.t. - What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
Trozzle replied to Got a Pulsar's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Yeah Richard, Wicked Wheels have been recommended to me by many a reliable mouth. -
Yeah my opened container did it a bit after sitting in the cupboard for a while. Still dissolves easily. Just break it up and mix with a little bit of warm water before topping up with cold.

In bold. I think you're taking far too much of a blanket approach to this concept. Do you not use a notepad or some other method to record your workouts? How do you truly know you've bettered your last session for any given lift? Surely you don't rely on remembering "Ok, when I last did deadlifts 5 days ago, my sets were: warmup, 140kg x8/8/7/6/5, 130kg x6/5/4, 100kg x8/8/5" I only need to think of one fault in NOT using something - you're relying on your memory to be accurate. Sure, it's not necessary, but back to the concept of lifting MORE - it just makes it easy to ensure you do lift more than last time. Even if only 1 rep overall. Considering the app I use Jucy takes all of 30 seconds to compile a workout before I start, then maybe another 5 seconds after each set to note the weight and reps.....I'd rather "rely" on technology than my f**ked out useless memory lol

Short answer: it is really your problem in any way shape or form if they lack the common sense to get it connected themselves? lol otherwise you're paying for their usage....

You were just exiting the roundabout at the crematorium headed into Mitchell, I was heading the other way. Gave a wave but you didn't see me

Spotted Richard this morning just after 11 in Sandford St Mitchell

Anyone who's legitimately having trouble with their diet and can't quite seem to work it out, if you're considering going down the route of having a diet plan written up for you, I'd STRONGLY recommend the services of my mate's nutrition coaching business. You will not find a better commercial service imo (commercial meaning nutrition coaching is the business' product). http://www.nutrivolve.com.au/

I'm taking the middle ground in that I agree with Birds for the most part that they're just a gimmick that in no way actually assists you in exercising. A pedometer didn't make you get up and walk those 20,000 steps; you'd have done them anyway, only difference being that you didn't count them. Same calories burnt.....and like f**king hell they're worth the money. No way. HOWEVER Having used apps such as Strava for recording my pushbike rides, and an app called Jucy for recording my lifting sessions, I do find the information they present you VERY useful even though what you 'did' wouldn't have been any different whether you recorded it or not. The advantage I find is mostly motivational, though it's also good to be able to look back through various logs and see exactly where you need to make changes/improvements to progress. I'm not sure of the entire range of Fitbit's features, though things like the apps I use let you know things like segment times so you can try to better it next time, and total combined weight lifted across all sets for a particular lift so you can always make sure you move more than last time TL;DR - they have their place and advantages, but for the most part they're not really going to make or break anything....other than your wallet in a lot of cases. FWIW Jucy cost me like US$1.99 after the free trial period, and Strava is free entirely.

Been there, done that (well, likely just buldged lol). No *current* issues though, aside from occasional SIJ pain (which really just feels like brutal muscle pump). It's more to know what state everything is currently in, rather than determine a particular problem. Not really keen to spend hundreds just for the hell of it

Farken. I'd get myself an MRI or two if I could find a way to bring the cost down to no more than $100 out of pocket could love to know what damage I've REALLY done to my upper spine and SIJ hahaha

I honestly think that you should strongly consider submitting a more modern, topic-specific definition of insanity: "Insanity: buying a second Japanese performance import against all financial logic" Slightly on topic though, I'll definitely end up getting another modified import as a project some time down the line. The missus is likely going to go against all her emotions and let her MRT edition WRX go soon enough due to financial priorities, and we both agreed we'd totally get something to work on together when (yes, WHEN lol) we eventually move out somewhere together. (Un?)fortunately she really dislikes Skylines though lol, so who knows what we'd end up considering when the time comes....

Oh Anthony, you so lulzy

Finally sold the CBR the other day one of my mates raced 300s with his old man last season, and decided this year they'd be stepping up to the 600cc bikes. Sold off all their 300 gear, including the trailer they'd built for the bikes. Built a new larger trailer for the 600s, bought all the spares, extras, tools required etc etc, paid entry fees for the season. Spent thousands each getting ready. Had a sponsor lined up providing the bikes.... Well from what I understand, their sponsor ran into some tax hiccups recently and can no longer provide the bikes. Mate found himself up shit creek with only weeks before first round and no bike to ride lol. Given it's strictly a race bike, he didn't really require MY bike given it's registrable and comes with a "premium" of sorts as a result, over a strictly track bike like he would originally have bought. Ah well, given the losses he was facing if he couldn't find a bike, bit the bullet and took mine off my hands mate's rates of course haha, wasn't gonna force him to pay market value on the thing (which ironically has gone UP in the last few months, LOL). He got a good price, and I'm even letting him pay it off over the coming months since he still needs some cash to race haha. Plus the thing's going to be used as it was designed to be - having its ass kicked on a track Only took him a few hours after picking it up to have it stripped right back ready to be race prep'd heh

I honestly can't tell if I'm supposed to be reading something between the lines there Mik, at least with regards to the second line in your post lol

Holy f**k mate that's wicked!!! Strictly personal use? Or did you actually buy a "gym"? haha
