  1. I believe it's what your pedals are attached to under the dash, their pivot point. Not keen to rip out my dash....
  2. Downside to both options is I need to remove the pedal box. f**k THAT
  3. Yeah makes sense, exactly what I'm after. Blow me, lol. Nah dunno how it came to this much discussion, though yeah not worth starting a thread and don't have any more to discuss anyway lol, my other modes of transport include pushing wood (longboard) and a downhill mountain bike...though yeah I've never seen people on blades getting around.
  4. Yeah perhaps that's right Zeb, I considered that to a degree. Will obviously have to repair/replace the farken pedal box anyway, though at least I can get the car home now
  5. Pedal box broke. Need new pedal box. FML. Although somehow bleeding the system plus removing an apparently unneeded reservoir near the slave cylinder has given me use of my clutch again.....anyone explain???
  6. Nice blades owen, I was hoping these were a little bit more towards that style (only without the grind pads) - like lower to the ground and shorter wheelbase, though they look like they're gonna be great for what I'll be using them for - working DAT ASS
  7. yep, done. They're sitting on my side of the bay at work now. That means I own them. lol Haven't bladed in MANY MANY years. Like around 7 I'd guess. Gonna be sketchy as.
  8. 50kg bench? fark I might make...20? lol
  9. Yeah I remember it being absolutely awesome on the legs, can't wait to give them a real go tomorrow $600 though?! holy jesus I didn't think you could get them that expensive!!!
  10. rofl, not THAT clutch >.> yeah Jono that was the first thing I looked at, unfortunately that ain't the problem. It's been suggested part of the whole bracket that the pedal is held in place by has snapped....I dunno, haven't heard anything from the mechanic dude yet, though I told him no rush. I'm not too fussed about riding everywhere on a pushy lol
  11. They're k2 Camano. Pretty much brand new condition. Not sure what the 2nd hand price for this kinda gear should be since there's nothing on eBay that I could find, but he said he'd do $100 and throw in his knee/elbow/wrist pads too. Seems like a good deal when he allegedly paid ~$300 for the gear in the first place, regardless of age. Thoughts?
  12. physical persuasion?
  13. Tempting, though I'm outa town (country) in under 2 weeks, won't be back 'til July - I'll be keen then though
  14. I've managed to fit my ATR43G3 to the manifold, then fit the dump pipe to the turbo while it's in the engine bay of my R33 S1 (so no ABS unit) without TOO much trouble. It was fiddly as all f**k, though I'd hardly say the dump was the hard part. As I recall, 4/6 bolts could be done from above (though 3 were easy). I'd recommend trying to do as many as you can from underneath the car.
  15. Dude next to me at work has done "Around the bay in a day" and some 160km Mt Bulla beast of a ride among other things.....though the furthest I've ridden would be like 25km in a day lol
  16. No idea on the model sorry, I'll chuck up pics tomorrow when he brings them in to show me/I buy them if they fit. Oh I geddit now! lol. Cousin used to do that in the Navy, reckons it was a blast! Though yes it does get full on from what he was telling me, gotta be ready to jump on the boat with your gear and assert yourself for an extended period of time.
  17. Oh, nice! This section should get some decent attention straight off the bat! I'm considering buying some near-new K2 inline skates (roller blades, yo) from the dude sitting next to me here at work. Barely ever used them, and I used to LOVE blading. I can certainly remember how good of a workout it is, that's for sure!
  18. I've never said the change was immediate, though even if they used the good oil I would still pick up on minor changes. Like simpletool said, our 5 senses are amazing. I pick up on things wrong with my car that while may not be anything major at all, are certainly there. Even things like what I'm feeling through my right foot on the throttle compared to my left foot on the rest might raise an eyebrow for me. Not entirely blaming it on the oil, maybe even I'm a little pedantic and pay more attention to my senses after an oil change hence why I might notice these things more. Though for something like lifter noise, I can guarantee you that has arisen since my last oil change. No ifs or buts about it, this oil has conveniently lined up with my lifters making noise be it the cause or not.
  19. boat boarding parties? The f**k is that? I can't think of anything it could be that would make it illegal :\
  20. I'm going to agree to an extent with Arthur here. The shithouse oil I'm using (Nulon 10w40 full synth) makes it feel as though something just isn't right, compared to Motul 8100 5w40... Not to mention since using it I have a noisy lifter down near no.6 cyl. I can tell you like Arthur is trying to - it's bloody hard to explain how you "feel" it. It's not entirely about feeling in a physical sense of the word, but more a "gut feeling". Little things, like the way the car free revs, sounds when it free revs, lifter noise, turbo spool....just these little things that you subliminally notice that cause you to feel as though something isn't as it was before or as it should be.
  21. FWIW, I'm using a JJR 3" BELLMOUTH dump+front pipe without any troubles.
  22. Little bit mean. Unless it's LaBomba
  23. well thankfully I don't intend on using anything at this stage lol, coz I don't fit ANY of your criteria
