  1. Yeah I do that when I'm actually at the gym and out of ideas with spare time lol....f**k. me. dead. hard.
  2. I find that 3 sets 20-25 reps of pushups with my feet on the couch (1m high) will give the best pre-outing pump I could ever want. nohomo. It's a Jersey thing.
  3. hahaha, no I figure Pat's either putting all his brainpower into an awesome comeback, or sulking in the corner from that amazing BURN. Yes I know how lame I am, what of it?!
  4. Well, if you drop the oil when I do it'll be runny lol...generally hot enough to scald your hand nicely. Yeah, I'm sure it's the oil. Since I'm using the second batch of it that I had, I've noticed my lifters are a LOT noisier. I'll drop this shit at like 2500/3000km or so and hit up some 8100 10w40
  5. Did an entire session this arvo of different oblique exercises. Did the kettlebell thingy with a 10kg plate, that was a decent feel. Also did oblique cable twists, it's very difficult to not move your hips! Not because the exercise is hard, but one of those things where you're resisting something that's second nature lol. I also did exercises on the cable that simulated the two movements of splitting wood with a blockbuster, both using a straight handle with the cable attached to one end - the movement of lifting the blockbuster with the cable down low, and then the movement of bringing it back down with the cable up high. Both left and right handed. I feel pretty good now, I don't normally target obliques
  6. ghey, good to hear but unfortunately I can't put myself in the same basket
  7. EXACT same thing happened in my R33 GTS-T this arvo. Pushed clutch in to go from 1st to 2nd, heard snapping/crack sound, clutch still engaged and cant change gears. I've had the exact thing happen with my old VL too, it turned out that there's a spring inside the master cylinder that isn't only for pushing the pedal back out and it had snapped into 3 pieces. It it somehow required to allow the fluid to be pushed towards the slave cylinder too. I'm hoping that I have the same problem with my R33 now. Either that, or like you said the slave cylinder could be farked somehow, or the pivot joint broken. If you're up for it, remove the master cylinder and dismantle it. Check out that everything is as it should be inside. From what I remember, they're fairly simple - it should at least be easy to see if that's the problem. Worst case scenario after doing this is you've ruled it out as the problem and given it a clean anyway
  8. It's not losing fluid that I noticed, but it can still be the master cylinder. With the VL I used to drive, the exact same thing happened (though I didn't hear/feel the snapping of whatever broke) while changing from 4th to 5th on the highway. The pedal would have no resistance until just before the floor, which wasn't enough to disengage the clutch. Turned out there is a spring inside the master cylinder that had snapped into 3 pieces, and however the master cylinder worked it was required to allow it to pump fluid through to the slave. Something has snapped, so I'm thinking it's either the same deal with something inside the master cylinder, or the fork pivot has snapped. Will find out soon enough, at least the car is right next door to a backyard mechanic who'll apparently do mates rates for me...just gotta find the culprit then get him to replace it
  9. Upgrade what exactly? Lol if the gearbox needs to come out it will be tempting to get a new clutch
  10. Well car is IN Kambah at the moment out the front of my aunt's place, their neighbour runs a mechanic business from his backyard. Might get him to sort it since it's there lol. I'm really hoping it's the master cylinder like the VL
  11. Driving along, went to change into second, pushed clutch in and heard a loudish crack... then discovered the clutch wasn't disengaged. I'm guessing it's likely the master cylinder has shit itself as the same thing happened to the VL once, though it could the pivot point or something I've heard is apparently "weak" with these gearboxes... Thoughts? Had to cruise over to aunt's place with only 2nd gear zzzz
  12. I hope you didn't pay the full invoice on that one Mitch...
  13. fark, I can only do around 30 unweighted, from 20 onwards is extreme struggle though.
  14. mmmmmmm tuna snack that is all.
  15. GF's mum is 36. Giggity.
  16. lol yeah man, some people are a little too misinformed/uneducated on the idea. You think competitors on Worlds Strongest Man are average weight? hahaha I've not put on much weight since I started training, though my strength and muscle size has increased quite a bit. Dunno wtf, but whatever haha...
  17. hahaha, well my 2 week Utah trip we ate absolute shit every day (When in USA...) yet came home just as good shape but much stronger legs lol....only snowboarding At least I'm staying with the girlfriend's family the whole time in Estonia, so it will be more or less the same diet I'm on here coz we'll be sorting out own food 90% of the time. Plus when at her grandparent's place we'll be living on a "farm" so will have access to heaps of fresh shit. I'll be exercising just as much if not more than I am now due to having significantly more spare time than I do here in Canberra. I'm interested to see where it gets me.
  18. That's just your style Pete.
  19. It's a little disconcerting how I keep hearing about the content of food over there taking your body in the other direction Since I'm spending the good majority of my time in one place (Estonia) I'll be looking into a 1 month thing for a local gym if possible, otherwise just regular attendance. Either that, or I'll just use the disgusting amount of free time I'll have to exercise. Go for jogs around town during the day looking for ladies perhaps? hahaha
  20. LOL Dips are the bomb! I usually go for 3x10 reps with 15kg on the belt, but can't farken find a belt at my current gym!!! So now it's just 14kg between the ankles, which is f**king struggle town. Sternum though dude, not cool. I hit the handle bars of my bike once thanks to a retarded launch on a dirt jump...now whenever I stretch the chest by trying to "touch my elbows together" I get a huge crack sound in my sternum like cracking your knuckles, only louder. Also I'm doing my best to cut back on carbs in the leadup to heading overseas (Europe, fark yeah) for no obvious reason (hint: ladies). I couldn't be arsed tailoring my diet for 4 weeks, so I'm just not eating any snacks or sugary shit at all (bar morning mocha). Shit sucks already, and I'm not even going all out better be worth it rofl
