Hello Greg, I would like to give my opinion on this matter now after having seen that video. Richard, the driver of your car at the time, had a better chance of avoiding Eric's car than Eric did of avoiding this accident. Given that Richard has far far FAR more chance of seeing Eric's MX5 before the impact than Eric did of seeing that thing coming towards him, perhaps Richard could have bitten the bullet and straightened his steering to run behind the MX5 before he left the tarmac. There is no way at that speed he had any hope in his mind that he might make the corner. From the moment he entered it without brakes, he knew he carried too much momentum to turn. Richard was the ONLY person who could have avoided that accident.

Can you hear the induction sound of the turbo even AFTER the boost stops trying to climb? That would suggest it's still sucking air, but it's getting out somewhere. I'd think it could be a leak somewhere with a metal gasket, say BOV flange or even intake manifold. Do you have AFM or MAP sensor? If AFM, of course black smoke would pour out if you have an AFM....if no black smoke, then yeah you're not even sucking air IN, let alone losing it.

Just don't have it ridiculously low and I doubt you'll ever have a problem. I've got coilovers in my R33 at the moment, but when I got them fitted I asked the dude to raise the car if he believed that would be more practical lol. Just make sure you're easily over 100mm at the lowest point above ground, and you're sweet. 130mm would be preferable

Power FC is possibly the easiest and most widely supported, but Apexi discontinued production of it for the R33 GTS-T...so you either pay something stupid for it or buy it second hand. Personally I'm running a ViPEC v44 plug and play ECU. It's worth roughly $1800 though...there are other options, but Nistune would probably be the cheapest.
