  1. EDIT: OH SHIT. YOU'RE A HARSH ICE QUEEN!!!!
  2. By target, do you mean higher than your actuator's spring rating? Try running a vac line directly from the boost source off the intercooler piping or wherever you're getting it from to the actuators. Completely remove the boost controller from the equation. You said with the standard boost solenoid in place, it made 8psi? If that's the rating of your actuators, I dare say that's probably the issue. While your turbos aren't HUGE, they're certainly flowing a decent amount of air and therefore exhaust even at that low boost, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was just simply overcoming the wastegate flap and pushing it open.
  3. I never deserve it! I'm a beautiful princess and should be treated as such! wait wut
  4. nawwww more like Shell will just put me down as always
  5. I think Scotty NM35 mentioned the change in AFR's on his wideband between the 70% blend and 85% blend being f**k all, as well as the fact that if you've tuned into the sweet spot but not beyond, you won't REALLY have to worry about any damage being done. e70 on e85 map = running slightly rich which will compensate (with some minor negative things like eventual fouling of plugs perhaps? certainly no detonation) e85 on e70 map = running slightly lean, but theoretically shouldn't detonate due to increased ethanol content. Will run a bit shitty though, should still be relatively safe. You're right though, it's not a gamble you can make without a wideband sensor and ability to swap maps on the spot once you see that you're running the "other" stuff. You'd also want to either have your maps somewhat conservative to compensate for a mix in e70 and e85, which could mean you'll have anything in between, or 3 maps - 70, 77.5, and 85% ethanol
  6. I'd rather not have any camber just to make them fit, that'd give me the same problem I have now with my rears - excessive wear and even LESS life out of the tyres
  7. Yeah I'd say either faulty EBC (doing nothing) or incorrectly installed (hence doing nothing)
  8. Nothing about your car is legal these days regardless. Having said that, not it's not "legal" and needs to be engineered, though I'd say when it comes to modifications it would be the least of anyone's worries. Just spray the thing matte black before fitting it, won't stand out then.
  9. Well if the EBC is the issue, it would have to be simply doing nothing. By that I mean having the same effect as no boost controller at all....would that really amount to that the increase in lag? Sure, it's been proven to be the issue by his simple troubleshooting - yet I can't see how a boost controller will be the difference in 2000rpm
  10. I heard from a little birdy that shell has fleas, confirm/deny?
  11. You can have mine, but I don't much like making a loss in things.....so we'll say roughly $30,000ono and it's yours.
  12. uhhhh
  13. After reading the last few replies, you really should just listen to Nismoid on the legalities....your car WILL NOT be legal without having everything engineered and a full (read again: FULL) emissions test.
  14. Probably a good assumption there mate...not sure what troubleshooting you can do though, others might know. Perhaps remove the return hose from the plenum to radiator and crank it over, see if water comes out of the hose.
  15. Looking inside my front guards, doesn't look like I have any of the plastic bits. If it looks a little weird, that doesn't bother me either. I got the tyres cheap ($650 for the set, PLENTY of tread) but like I said, for some reason I thought they were 245 which would have been a lot easier to do. Scrubbing on full lock won't be the end of the world, as you see above I never hit full lock. I do this on purpose, so I'm not just saying I don't even NEED to. I just don't do it. Rolling guards, while undesirable, isn't the end of the world either. I currently have 235 ever so slightly stretched onto the rims, looks decent as the sidewalls are pretty much vertical. Although again like I said, aesthetics of the tyre don't bother me. Cheers for the input guys, appreciated!
  16. That's so good lol.
  17. Look at the starter of the thread, ask them.
  18. It's the front I'm worried about, particularly due to turning.
  19. f**king. gay. Now to work out where to get that done in Canberra....any ideas Zeb?
  20. I couldn't find a relevant thread to bump with this question....just picked up some 2nd hand tyres for my s1 R33 GTS-T which I thought were 245 wide, but it now seems they're 255 wide. Will these tyres clear the guards if they're on 9" R33 GT-R rims?
  21. I can be hopeful
  22. No, looking at the pics it is certainly not shrouding.
  23. after reading it a few times, I think he was under the impression it was a GT-R bonnet, when in fact it was a GTS-T bonnet.
  24. Dumbest question, but it certainly doesn't fit the 33 GTS-T does it?
