  1. I made 394.8rwhp (294.4rwkw) on 15.9psi of boost on a 100% internally standard unopened series 1 RB25DET, assembled in 1993. This was running a restrictive ceramic cat converter. I can guarantee you since I've bashed that cat out my boost curve holds all the way to red line, and I would be exceeding 400rwhp.
  2. Speak to Angelo @ Trojan, he's stated to me that quite simply they don't give a rats ass about making money from selling tyres, so he'll give you good price
  3. whole exhaust and cat size? possible blocked/poor flow cat
  4. DEFINITELY do springs at same time.
  5. suhweet! Makes me happier
  6. hahaha mailbox...where do you live though?! North somewhere hey
  7. This just made me think of the VIPEC v44...it has 4 ign outputs and from what I can gather off their website, 4 injector drivers... Though the line in bold confuses me...who the hell runs less than 4 cylinders? Does this mean that the v44 is wasting fuel too?
  8. Organise a time to meet somewhere, and have it exchange hands? lol Otherwise I could try teleporting it to you...unsure if I still have my teleporting machine though
  9. No worries happy to pass on knowledge that I needed not all that long ago
  10. When did it last work? Pretty much something is restricting how much the actuator can open the gate - so in my opinion it's either boost controller (which you don't have), actuator itself, actuator rod preload, or gate fouling on something. Well also, could be that the internal gate simply isn't big enough, but I doubt that. If you can get to the turbo/actuator while it's on the car, I'd recommend disconnecting the actuator rod from the wastegate. Once it's off, ensure that the wastegate can open and close freely. Also ensure that when you are putting the actuator rod back onto the wastegate, you need to pull the rod out against the spring roughly 3mm. If any more, then overboost is possible.
  11. fark if you post something that is DEFINITELY NOT SAFE FOR WORK please link it if you really must, but do NOT embed it. Some of us browse while working for government agencies....
  12. lolwut That's retarded...when they WERE on the list, the servo had no idea what was going on...now that they're OFF the list, the servo expects it in the next couple of weeks. hurr durr.
  13. ummm KU36? I'll take 2. Well, 255's if they're around the same price.
  14. honestly not sure mate. I'm fairly sure that if you moved here permanently, you have 2 weeks to swap your rego over...but in your case - probably never.
  15. So I'm still in? coolies lol
  16. Nothing here yet, hoping it turns up this morning/today some time
  17. If Blah Blah wants, he can have his spot back. If he doesn't want it now, still count me in and I'll throw money at your face as soon as I know - but will definitely purchase if he isn't.
  18. You mean all that black smoke it belches?
  19. Black holes for me please Phil! Assuming blah blah doesn't take the spot
  20. I should have taken photos of the guts from mine when I bashed it out....well, I might still be able to find them on the ground so I may very well back this up. Mine most certainly was melted. Maybe not from heat as such, could have been acidic melt if any of the unburnt fuel could possibly do this....but it was definitely melted. And as far as I know it was aftermarket as the heat shielding was branded CATCO
  21. Also could possibly be tired coilpacks.... Could be anything really though...AFM, coilpacks (playing up when warm), ECU, CAS etc etc. Unfortunately you'll need to locate someone with these kinds of parts to swap around for troubleshooting
  22. I'd also like to know the answer to that^^
  23. LOL I've NEVER heard of people doing that! sounds like something I'd do personally.... umm, well...yeah technically you're supposed to have them mounted on the outside, but you could easily get away with having them in your windscreen as long as you don't draw any attention. Hell, you could get away with not displaying them at all if you never get yourself pulled over (of course RBT is unavoidable) but that's not a great idea anyway.
