regarding the x-force one, they say it meets Euro 3 emissions standards or something...I take it that's not enough for Aus? Also, I wouldn't particularly recommend using that Just Jap one either - since it doesn't specify, I'd assume it's ceramic? That'd be a stupid move to put another ceramic cat back in. -

Yeah running costs for my GTS-T while it was "stock" came up as $90 for oil and filter every 5000km; ~$70-80/tank of fuel, which would get you roughly 450km of city driving; ~$500/year for third party + fire and theft insurance (comprehensive isn't even an option for someone your age with that car imo); then other shit that breaks/wears out as TiTAN said. -

Pretty much, the only things that are different while on P's in ACT are blood alcohol content (0.02), having to display them on your car (unless you do the P-off course after 6 months, which is a must to avoid being targeted), and the amount of points you have on your license (4, or 8 after you've done the P-off course). Otherwise, you're free to drive whatever you wish - could even be a quad-charged LS2 in a farken bus for all the laws care -
Spoke to the attendant at Kambah earlier - he says within 2-3weeks they'll be pumping the good shit. They should have the equipment coming round this coming week to suck everything out of the existing E10 tank they'll be using, then clean it all out in preparation for filling with e85.

yeah it's probably a mix of all of the above. Either way, still feels strong, just not stupidly strong like before. Plus I'm pedantic, and I worry too much, and I suffer from automotive-hypochondria. lol.

Over the past week and a bit, I've lost quite a chunk of my power. At least it feels that way, given how rarely it lets go in 2nd when I plant it.... I wonder if I'm suffering from this?

I'm better on exhaust restriction. When my cat melted itself the other week, it drove around fine - just REALLY doughy particularly when trying to boost. Had a different note too, but you won't notice these things as you haven't experienced it "working" Dyno without the cat/catback system connected would be my recommendation. It's very much likely your cat is farked.

Yeah it's vehicle recognition. It sees your car, remembers what it looks like, then picks it again at the next camera. It works out your average speed between the 2 points based on how far they are apart and how long it took you to get there, and books you if you exceeded the limit. That being said, if it takes you 20 minutes to travel between them at the speed limit, you could stop for 10 minutes after passing the first one, then double the speed limit (160km/h in this case) the whole way there, and not get booked by this system.

Also, that AFR is farken rich man. While that aint the problem (I'm roughly 11.5:1) it's surely not very good tuning from what I've seen....but I'm not an expert. Also, Trent knows his shit, and does all of Stao's testing. If he says it's not right, then it's not right.

My "midnight purple" was a mockup paint mix by the looks of things, so when I got a can of touchup matched, it turned out closest to "Honda RP25P Aubergine Pearl Standard" with a touch of some kind of blue....much cheaper lol
