  12. Difference is, they can see the results of each change they make to the tune when it's real-time on a dyno.
  13. haha, yeah well it should be good given the tune is exceptionally conservative. Certainly shouldn't ping or detonate at least.
  14. Well first and main issue is that my cat is welded to my catback pipe, so it's not coming off lol...otherwise what's the difference between running a straight 3" pipe as opposed to a gutted cat? Turbulence? I wouldn't expect it would flow MUCH better, but happy to be wrong

  17. nah after you left yesterday I put the exhaust back on and she's up and running again - albeit with a gutted cat until I get a new one sorted. Pulls harder than it did before it had issues too

  20. Yeah exactly. It pulled that number on 2 different dynos though (one DD, and the other was whatever gives the style of printout Dr Drift uses)....and in all honesty, I can't say 100% that the ECU was stock. I never remembered to get it back off the workshop that installed the ViPEC...my silly mistake. Also, my timing may have been slightly increased due to CAS being adjusted, but i don't know.
  21. Not to sound like another hater here, as all it comes down it is whether or not you're happy with the car....but I was making 190rwkw on the stock ECU with a bleed valve controlling boost to ~11psi...
  22. I would like to say that these above dyno plots incorrectly represent the power delivery of this turbo. If my exhaust system was optimal, and NOT running a heap of shit cat, the response would be much better Just like to point out that now I have a very free-flowing cat, this thing delivers power like a farking rocket. NOTE: do not expect to get away with not running GOOD tyres. lol. Again thanks to Stao, loving my car.
