  1. I'm torn between getting mine resprayed (and having the gutter rash fked off lol) Could only really get them done black....white R33 GT-R wheels would like ghey. I wouldn't mind a set of those multi spoke fluoro yellow wheels in 18 though....
  2. Yep, it would appear so HELL FKING NO I AINT DRESSING UP! lol...I'm definitely not the kind to turn up to a dress-up party....dressed up. lol lol best call.
  3. IMHO Black goes REALLY well with yellow too Shell
  4. I've been informed of one of my girlfriend's mate's Halloween fail party that I must attend with her....fark.
  5. I thought the screw in "wastegate controller" merely restricted the exhaust gasses before the gate, so that exhaust pressure had less to play in boost drop as it wasn't forcing the gate open as much...would have the same effect on backpressure through the exhaust housing and manifold as it would without the screws but with the wastegate holding itself where it needs to be.
  6. lol first post, hello there good sir!
  7. ah fair enough. More or less, no difference. Coils are old enough that their original quality is negligible as they're probably about to fail anyway. CAS probably wouldn't make much difference if any. Turbo....well, same sorta deal as the coils - but if my series 1 turbo is anything to compare to, you won't have any worries running it at 11psi all day every day, which is just shy of hitting R&R anyway.
  8. ah fair enough....that being said, it's surely couldn't be a bad choice for $65 (before trade discount booya)? Birds, am I right to assume the S in the naming scheme meant Synthetic, therefore the M will mean Mineral?
  9. lol wtf is the diff with the motor? I thought the coils was the only thing
  10. I think I read somewhere that s1.5 was just s1 with factory options that s2 came standard with, like ABS and airbags....I'll let someone clarify though
  11. bump again.. After taking the car for a spin back home on my lunch break, I got to hear the actual sound created by the BOV...is it supposed to sound the same as a short sharp whistle that you'd create with your mouth, then just like a quiet hiss until you get back onto boost? I also noticed that it does not fully close off the hole when there is no pressure applied from either side...does this mean it will be constantly leaking? particularly since I don't run a return pipe?
  12. rofl yes I think so. Looks funneh. I've also seen a bright orange 33 getting around tuggers area with some blonde chick driving...hmm Also spotted a black (?) 33 headed south on drakeford yesterday pulling up to the roundabout at isabelle drive...gave a wave and got one back
  13. nononononono, wherever I went Andrew, it was about as close to the DIY car wash in Lanyon as you can get... That's the place.
  14. Yeah I'm not too fussed, just thought I'd ask anyway - just in case.
  15. Where did you take it??? That's awesome news mate, good to hear! Absolutely no idea about the wing light to be honest...could try buying one from a wreck or something...otherwise go to Nissan spares or something for lulz and see how much they want.
  16. I know it was covered, but I don't think it applies entirely to what I'm reading there. The current legislation as I'm led to believe is something along the lines of 75% minimum can be marketed at fully. Since I read Nulon was doing this at some stage, I wanted to confirm that if they're now labeling this oil as 100% synthetic, is it actually 100%? Surely 100% and "fully" aren't the same thing, so if you're going to claim 100% is has to be 100%...right?
  17. I had a leak this morning. I didn't plug the vac pipe up to the BOV when I fitted a GTR item. I'm cool.
  18. I fail to see how that's any more correct than my obvious troll post, given his above posted results.
  19. Why do I want to derail this thread SO BADLY? Looks like your Genuine Garrett item is no better than the Hypergear item you spent so much time badmouthing. Although to add a relevant response, since I haven't seen results of this turbo at that boost on a 3L....what are the chances it's either running out of puff, or that the exhaust flow from 3L engine against the wastegate on top of the boost pressure against the actuator are causing it to not hold closed as much as desired? I know that last situation isn't likely, but perhaps it just can't flow what your engine wants to swallow.
  20. Also spotted me forgetting to hook up the manifold vacuum line to my BOV when I swapped it with a GTR item last night....wondered why I was idling at 2000rpm and had massive flutter :\
  21. lol it would all be worth it just to have the silly little 18/19yr old attendant be all like "NO DUDE!!! DANGER TO MANIFOLD!!!"
  22. Quick bump to ask something... So I received the GT-R BOV off a fellow forum member yesterday...fitted it to the car, but didn't get a chance to drive it until work this morning... First gear change with ANY throttle gave me HEAPS of flutter...gave it a tiny bit more and changed again, more flutter...I was also noticing it would idle anywhere between 1500 - 2000rpm... Didn't take it into +manifold pressure at all the whole way, and when I pulled up at work I'd done exactly as I thought - left the manifold pressure line to the BOV disconnected. My question is, would this have been running even remotely lean since this was just sucking air when idling? I figured even if it were, it wouldn't have done anything bad since I drove like I didn't even have a right foot all the way to work (only about 5 minute drive so car barely gets warm)
