I remember reading back in this thread somewhere about Nulon fully synth oils not actually being 100%....but this one SAYS 100%. "Fully Synthetic" only needs to be 75% synth or something. I'll probs be giving it a shot when I receive my magnetic sump plug from Phil's group buy...
  5. EDIT: when there is NO pressure on either side of the BOV, does the spring hold it open or closed by default? I believe my standard BOV is a piece of ass too, which is why I bought an R33 GT-R BOV off another forum member. Hopefully it turns up today. Mine will occasionally make a bit of a dose sound when I change gears, as well as not have as much pull as it comes on boost sometimes. Probs leaking....or all in my head lol. Either way, I'll feel better if I'm running a better BOV.
  6. Bummer dude....might be worth simply removing all pipework from the turbo to intercooler, then intercooler to plenum. Go over everything, replace cheap hose clamps with the GOOD ones (like I should do lol). If there's nothing out of place with that, perhaps your cooler is shit. See if there's one lying around you could swap with and give it a shot, otherwise buy a new one. Confirm it's the issue first, coz coolers aren't cheap
  7. If you have a 3" or larger compressor inlet, it will be a restriction regardless. Don't bother unless you're using a 2.5" inlet.

  11. Exactly. If you hit the brakes for no reason, I'd say you'll still get hit for dangerous driving or negligence, but they're still 100% at fault. Unless they're even further above the law than first thought.
  12. It says 350-1000hp....but that being said, you can push 350hp out of an RB25 running a GT40 with low enough boost lol
  13. Although looking at that dyno sheet, seems pretty decent tbh. AFR's look good (well, they're rich lol...but about the same as mine )
  14. Mines ECU's are generally not something tuned specifically on a dyno while in your car (at least not outside of Japan) They're usually just a more optimal tune that makes use of increased airflow and timing etc. Better, but not spot on.
  15. Potentially happy dyno reading and it's conveniently running quite well for an "untuned" ECU. either way, if there's no detonation and the AFR's were fine then who cares about the reading
  16. Oh yeah man, you will. My first R33 was 100% stock bar rims and springs. It had an assumed 154rwkw. It was fast and had balls. My current R33 had 170rwkw when I got it. It pulled even harder and was great fun. I then had it run on a dyno for a checkup rather than power figure. They discovered the CAS was out, and after adjusting it correctly it made 190rwkw. This was sooo much better. Since then I've had new turbo, injectors, fuel pump, coilpacks, and ECU fitted. Now sitting on 294.4rwkw. Shit's crazy yo.
