  1. ah, THAT r34. lol. It's quite nice, other than the rear wing. Seen it around, and looks kinda strange...lol Otherwise, it's nice and clean
  2. noooooo use imgur!!! All the common ones are blocked at work
  3. Football is ghey, that is all.
  4. Yeah there's another yellow R34 in Canberra
  5. I have a GoPro HD hero cam, which I've mounted just above my B-pillar. It's got a 170 degree lens so it will look a big fisheyed, but otherwise 720p @ 60fps is pretty sweet. 1080p @ 30fps is great too.
  6. Dunno about that method of doing it, but yeah if you can crank the engine a few times without it firing first up for oil to circulate, go for it. If the fuel pump has it's own fuse or solenoid, remove that too - just to stop it pumping the cylinders full of fuel
  7. Yeah it's odd. Regardless, I'll continue driving it as is and taking care of it, until shit hits the fan I suppose. Then off to Melbourne or Sydney for a rebuildz - which we all know is when the REAL fun begins.
  8. Congratulations Stephan! You're going to enjoy the car You should see us around on the roads plenty, be sure to give a wave and you should get a friendly greeting back! Any pics of your new car yet?
  9. oh fair enough then. either way, offer stands
  10. if there's no diff between S1 and S2 AFM's then I have one for sale that I'm happy to post to ya perfect working order.
  11. bawww, if you didn't already have a replacement engine, the first thing you should do is source an RB25!!!
  12. After seeing others' compression tests on RB25's, I really question wtf was up with mine. I'll be sure to post it up later this evening when I can give exact figures, but mine varied between 125psi and 135psi dry (unsure if warm or not tbh) It never burns oil. Oil level never drops between services (5 - 7500kms) and I had very minimal blowby. Am now running 15psi through it, and makes 285rwkw. Either the test was done incorrectly, the pressure tester thingywatsit is faulty, or I have a rebuilt engine with lower compression. Sorry to hijack a brand new thread, but don't spose I could get any insight on my situation? I'll be sure to get another pressure test+leak down done when I put turbo back on and take for retune - will be at a different workshop to the first test too.
  13. rofl pat. You broke it
  14. wow. Sexy wheels. So am I right to assume that the price shown there is per wheel?' If you're an ignorant bum like me, what's PCD stand for? AAAANNNNDDDDDDD any chance of a dealio of sorts if paired with purchase of tyres?
  15. No turbo in car again, so I aint coming out tonight unless someone wants to chauffeur me
  16. Could still be a boost leak. If you're using an EBC that controls boost to a set pressure by reading the manifold pressure (like ViPEC ECU boost control) then you could be bleeding air before the manifold or point of measurement, which would make the ECU to allow more boost so the manifold reads the desired boost. Or like has been suggested, it's more than likely a gasket leak somewhere on the exhaust side. The fact it shuts up as the car warms up supports this theory, as the exhaust parts expand towards each other closing the gap.
  17. ITT: One word random shit. Fruit
  18. I don't get it? lol Penetration
