  1. Excellent! So no pinging on the E70 with E85 tune?
  2. Probably about 220rwkw before you max the injectors.....or 200rwkw before you max what would be pushing safe on the stock turbo. BIG setbacks there with those stock parts mate.
  3. just rip the cover off, and tape it back in place when you're done.
  4. Get the chix
  5. Pat (Randon_I_am) had no worries shifting his whole exhaust back on his R34 GTT...so you'll have to have a look at it I spose.
  6. Well the comp housing of the turbo sits a couple of inches forward, and it's 3" instead of standard 2.5". I was originally going to do the metal intake mod and remove the AFM, then use a 2.5" > 3" silicon adapter...but I'm not sure if it's going to work. Since I snapped a stud, I left it to the workshop to finish the job. The exhaust housing also sits a couple of inches further BACK, so they sent it to their fabricator to modify my front pipe to make it shorter, and sort out the whole intake. Originally they believed I wouldn't be able to reuse any of the standard intake even with the metal piping mod I'd already done up, but they've since told me they might be able to reuse the whole thing, or at least salvage most of it. I'll see what they say when they get it back from the fabricator.
  7. after 3 weeks off the road so far (my fault, broke manifold > turbo stud. Not to mention needing a whole heap of exhaust/intake mods after the car went in) I'm looking to have my car back on the road this friday running the ATR43G2. Can't wait to see results, will post up. my mods will be... ATR43G2 0.82 ex internal wastegate w/ 14psi actuator Nismo 740cc red tops Bosch 044 mounted in tank Splitfires w/ BCPR7ES (not sure on gap, tuner recommended) ViPEC v44 ECU controlling boost JJR 3" mild steel bellmouth dump/front, more than likely gutted cat, 3.5" catback 3" metal intake, running MAP sensor phat intercooler, nfi on brand or dimensions I'm hoping to see 280rwkw @ 18psi, but will be happy with 270rwkw. Dyno printout will be posted.
  8. http://www.wheresmyride.com.au/login.html I believe this website is run by a dude in the ACT section here, as he had a chat to me about it not that long ago. More or less, I can't remember the cost of the parts is about $150, he'll help you install the basics if you're in ACT, and then you just need a data SIM....the best value for money one available is through Vodafone, but it's $150 for 12GB that doesn't expire for a year....massive overkill, but unfortunately there isn't any other alternatives (at least when I was speaking to him, may be now) There's also optional fuel-cut and in-cabin microphone, but he's never bothered with those himself. Otherwise, it updates location every 15 seconds, and you can view location and travel statistics via the website. VERY good imo, just a little on the expensive side to have running.
  9. BUMP! I should get the car (and the above parts for sale) back either today or tomorrow - so once I've got it back all these bits are up for grabs. PM me or call on 0431391359 if you want something, I'm fairly negotiable on these parts as they'll just sit in a box otherwise, but no massive lowball stuff ty
  10. not on the note of engine builds, but moreso warranty - My downhill mountain bike has Marzocchi 888's on the front. A few months ago, I dropped off something no more than 1m above ground, landed perfectly fine, but one side of the lowers split roughly 10cm. Like the metal itself just split. Emailed the aussie distributor asking wtf can be done, and how much to repair seeing as they were a few months short of being 3 years old, and only had a 12 month limited warranty...got them fixed for no more than postage ($60). A lot of manufacturers will honour a warranty repair well outside the warranty coverage when it's something that simply should not happen.
  11. You'll get a bit of lag no matter what, that's unavoidable
  12. white(ish) NX coupe I believe
  13. Put me as a maybe too please, will only give in to tracking my daily driver once I move workplaces from Fyshwick to Tuggers (hopefully next week) so if it goes poop, I can still walk to work.
  14. they're top feed not side feed remember, I don't know what size Nismo's you can get in top feed, but I know it's a bitch.
  15. Does this require either a CAMS license or appropriate wakefield 1 day license at additional cost?
  16. Expression of interest. Also, does the wideband come with the sensor at all man? or just the gauge?
  17. Don't be trollin us now
  18. Nobody has mentioned cat converter could be blocked? I mean it's unlikely to a certain degree, but still.
  19. Factory power ratings are always at the flywheel, never at the wheels. R33 GTS-T was 187kw at the fly, and I believe roughly 154kw at the rear wheels. If the R34 GT-T was actually 206kw at the fly, then I would assume somewhere in the vicinity of 170-177kw at the rear wheels. Also, I'm not sure on the 206kw deal between the R32 GT-R and R34 GT-T, but it may be concerning the "gentleman's agreement" between the Japs, in which they didn't advertise their cars as having more than that
  20. I think the real question, is does it chirp 4th? lol
  21. Piss off already, you remind me of every little shit headed 14yr old boy who thinks he's king shit behind a keyboard. How about you get out there and spend some time selling your fuel? If you were so confident, you wouldn't need to come back here every day to spout so much more nonsense. Your grammar is worse than mine, it's beginning to make me sad.
  22. Bayside blue 34gtr on clive steel in monash about 755am, gave a big thumbs up to the driver, looked like he had a fat grin on his face...probs coz some scrub kid at a bus stop liked his car
  23. Caltex have theirs on their website afaik, but it might just be the intended stations for their phase1 rollout
  24. no. It's now about V8FUEL digging as deep of a hole as he can.
