  1. If anybody asked me (which no1 did, well at least no1 I wouldn't just say "fk that couldn't be arsed" to) I would have told them it came with a munted gearbox, which I am getting fixed before I try to get it registered.
  2. lol damnit not insulting you mang, lrn2internetsarcasm.
  3. you talking about a 200L drum? fark me that's a lot...
  4. no u Andrew, no u. It will be the Caltex on the west side of Drakeford in Kambah, and Nicholls. I'm hoping more follow suit, and that United also jump on the boat. Either way Kambah aint that far for me at all, and I think you were in Banks so it's not HORRIBLE for you either.
  5. great value! can't wait to hit the place up next year with the missus....oh lawd
  6. HURR DURR I'M NIRM DERP DERP DERP lol well done sir, took you 3 pages I did that on purpose, bad spelling seems to attract more attention on the intarwebz
  7. YES COME TO AUS! Bring MORE swedish girls with you too! (my GF is Estonian, so if we got more or them/Swedes in this country, we'd be happy men) Could be the stock ECU is gumby, or the AFM is fail....sounds kinda like it might be running excessively rich, but once the airflow climbs up with more boost, it compensates and evens out...
  8. coz I'm dodgy
  9. hahahaha, let them think that... TiTAN, I played around with the ViPEC software....other than not really knowing THAT much about tuning a car, my mind is f**ked. It was fun, and awesome to see just how simple the layout is. Can't wait to get this e85 business running
  10. Personally I would still stick it to the flamin mongrel, but that's fair enough. Obviously you're never taking your business to this tuner again, right?
  11. tbh, if by "not long" you mean less than a few months, meh. I personally wouldn't bother, but that's me. My car was under QLD registration for like 6 months after I bought it before I transferred it.
  12. Amen Jayce. I loved the frame of mind definition.
  13. noob question, but is it road-registered? If so, YES
  14. Not to mention I'm sure you could get someone else to do it for much less than the cost of the rebuild.

Ah interesting, wasn't aware Leemhuis raced a GT-R....loved playing soccer with his son back in the day and having him turn up occasionally in a Ferrari....hawt
  16. hahaha yeah massive tank in your beast No boost for first few minutes of driving shouldn't be a worry at all, but after a few corners and a couple of hundred meters, the lines should be flushed and fuel in tank mixed....will be sweet. mini laptop in the glovebox with USB cable down to ECU will be a ripper, and I'll only ever bother running ethanol blends. Only question remaining though, are we sure they'll only swap it twice a year? ie. as we come into winter, they change it to e70, then as we move back into summer, they change back to e85?
  17. sorta off topic and I'm sure I could work this out with searching, but I don't know where to start to get a definitive answer... If you suggest running 2 maps, which DOES make the most sense to do....I'll be running a ViPEC V44. Is the tuning software for this ECU free? As in, no license needed? and is it easy to connect to the ECU while parked at a petrol station after filling up to change maps? If you had e85 in the tank, and filled up with ~55-57L of e70 from the pump, we can assume there will be no issues encountered running the minute mix between the two on an e70 map? If ViPEC software is free without license, I think I'll get myself a shitty laptop to bring with me when I fill up, as well as having 2 tunes made up for the 2 blends. Can't justify myself paying more than $100 for a software license though.
  18. tune for e77.5!!!! lol well let us wait for a mule to test, and follow their lead!
  19. How much you looking for? and how much have they been used? any rust on em? AAAAANNNDDDD Can you just swap them straight over with stock calipers, and not worry about alignment? sorry it's been YEARS since I've had rotors off the VL, and don't remember if any steering components get touched.
  20. yeah of course. Perhaps it would be safer to do what had been suggested previously, and run e85 on an e70 tune. This wouldn't work so well in the colder months with cold start I'd assume, but would be safe from detonation. You'd only lose a small amount of power running higher ethanol content without tuning to take advantage...and still have a buttload more power than running straight 98ron
  21. Not sure, but are you separating bits and pieces upon request? Say, the slotted rotors etc etc? Or some engine parts like the BOV?
  22. Does this suggest that you can run E70 on an E85 tune, or the other way around? lol my brain is still waking up...
  23. Shit just got real, yo. lol Nah you should be good Michele/Mark. Might just take a little bit to sort it out, but by the sounds of it you will get it sorted.
  24. Still in Eiji + 1 Shell Pat + 1 Troy + 3 Total: 9
