  1. Nobody wishes death upon drivers like these. Having said that, I'm sure nobody gives a flying f*ck that they DID die, or WISHES otherwise.
  2. f**k off Mr Walker, why don't you go give that midget Vin a gobby?
  3. sweet will do thanks for input. if I can't have a look myself, the car is going in for 1000km check on tuesday so I'll have the dude check it out for me then lack of garage space ftl
  4. It's a shame that second vehicle involved wasn't a minibus full of the c*nts.... anyways on topic, yeah I heard something, though no idea what exactly...seems like it would definitely be something to do with what Kat pointed out, though these figures should be discounted - those oxygen theives never existed...
  5. wow, sexy. Good luck mate.
  6. wrong forum, but you should get the answer. I don't know the part number, but that *sounds* right.
  7. might actually pass on this, not sure. Rage bar is growing for reasons unknown
  8. it's either air being forced through a hole somewhere in your piping after the turbo/before head, or the suction is sucking some piping closed (not sure if the second one can happen on a GTR)
  9. Kat come out. Naughty, no idea lol. Go to google maps, find the roundabout near Russell offices that has been molested, go to the next roundabout in teh direction of ADFA, head to lake from that roundabout.
  10. if it's not a leak, DEFINITELY sounds like my problem. Fluid was on max when I had the issue, and car was unable to be driven. I had to be hardcore and rev-match as far as I could to get home as luckily I was already moving when it happened. Got most of the way home, then couldn't get 3rd and had to pull over I'm putting money on the spring in the master being broken. Sounds exactly the same as the VL clutch.
  11. do it pat. doooooo eeeeet
  12. I don't want to hear this "maybe" shit Shell, I want definitive answers, and I want them NOW! TELL ME YOU'RE KEEN! SAY MY NAME! SAY IT!!!! no rly. everyone should come out.
  13. Didn't drop the box, and yeah Zac I'm not sure if I've worded things right, but it's definitely not the gearbox. Technically the internals of the box are more or less stationary when it happens. Good thing is I don't think it's happened since I said I was going to get the box dropped (which again, never went through) The workshop I took it to said they sprayed some lube on a few bits (sounded to me as though they only did the pivot boot thingy which squeaked a little sometimes like rubber on rubber), but they may have lubed the thrust bearing too? if that's both possible to do, and possible without droopping the box... So yeah Sorry Usamah, can't really help. Though if you understood what I was saying exactly and you're having the same sound...and not all the time, it might be the thrust bearing too. If you can drop your own gearbox out, have a look, otherwise the labour won't be cheap to have a look. I was advised to just deal with it until it gets worse, because if my suspicions were correct, when it finally eats shit, a thrust bearing is rather cheap anyways.
  14. Who'll be out? I'm keen for a cruise around this evening, will otherwise be bored out of my f**king mind.
  15. See the post I quoted on previous page tony I don't think it's triggered by hitting a certain speed, steering angle, or time. Power steering is definitely still functioning, but it's as though it was only working half as hard or something - can still turn wheel on tarmac when stationary. I have noticed it change halfway through a corner, as I'm turning while holding the wheel in the same position, it suddenly pulls against my hand and wants to straighten out. Work done included replacing rack mounts, so I don't know what extent the rack was removed. Haven't disconnected HICAS ECU at all, though have done battery disconnection for reset. I do have aftermarket wheel, but it hasn't had this problem for the whole year/22000kms I've owned the car until this work was done.
  16. diconnected battery for like 20 mins last night, when driving this morning it's still doing the same thing. sigh...lol
  17. Spotted Silver R35 at like 1pm ish hitting some golf balls on Griffith ovals (no idea what they technically are)....I was one of the wanks playing soccer on the oval. f**k yeah lunchtime soccer! Anyway, your bloody car was blinding me every time I looked at it - and believe me that was a LOT lol...very sexy!
  18. Will do PM-R33, had also considered that. But yes in answering Birds' question a little better, there aren't any problems directly related to fitting a HICAS lock bar. Hell, technically mine isn't even a problem, it's working as intended in the sense that it's functioning by dicking me around, lol.
  19. does the clutch actually work correctly? Either way, sounds like something could be wrong. I had something almost exactly the same happen in my VL, driving up the highway, clutch in to go 4th to 5th, clutch was unbelievable soft, and only felt like it was doing something *JUST* before it was completely depressed. Turned out to be the master cylinder (I think....the small one where the reservoir is). There is a spring inside that which had broken into 3 pieces. I didn't quite understand what it did, but as a result of being broken, it was essentially shorter. Didn't do what it was there to do until it was almost completely depressed. Just my 2c. If it turns out to be the same thing, the spring was like $5 from somewhere that just happened to have springs the same size (wasn't genuine). So VERY cheap fix if you can do it yourself.
  20. I'm going to quote a reply of myself to add my 2c to this. People will always say that nothing bad can happen and that people with steering issues afterwards f**ked up something else. WRONG. Just because most people don't have problems, does not mean EVERYONE will be the same. I have NOT disconnected the HICAS ECU, though I have considered trying it to see if it fixes the problem. Can you reset the HICAS ECU? I'll try disconnecting, driving (if possible) then reconnecting it to see what happens. Either way, the above is my situation. SOMETHING as a result of the work done is causing it, and the only things I can think of is a plug for a sensor on the steering rack someone mentioned, and something to do with HICAS being all but f**ked according to the ECU.
  21. If I wouldn't be travelling to USA again this june, not only would I be in on this faster than you can say "did that skyrine just be a suplah?", but I'd also have dumped the trip money into new bits would be sitting on 280kw+ (shut up Nate, don't you start ) and actually make it worth my while lol
  22. Stock airbox by any chance available?
  23. on the street, I rarely find myself about 5000-5500rpm. 6-7k ish when I wind the shit out of it up a hill in second....but really, I find the fun street driving to be ripping 3.5-5500 rpm in second and third (speed limit permitting) to be the best.
