  1. OMG YES lol'd so hard at that fine piece of typical News LTD journalism! So ignorant....
  2. Coz the only time I get a chance to hit up SAU these days requires me using my phone
  3. Also sorry for sounding blunt, I f**king hate typing out anything remotely detailed on my phone.
  4. Yes I know "itis" more or less means the inflammation of. Regardless, the pain is where the tendon attaches to the bone, as confirmed by jamming my knuckle into the area of pain. Also everything I found regarding people experiencing pain in the same area or general information pages further suggest patella tendonitis. I've had this same pain before from ramping up weight on leg press too quickly. And yes I know the site/location of pain isn't always where the cause is - it could be from tight quads or something. The pain is on the edge of the bone, that I'm absolutely 100000000% certain of.
  5. Or unless I have (mild) patella tendonitis. I'm sorry though, I just can't see how anything I said could point to muscle. I wouldn't be whinging if it was muscular, since then I'd at least know where the issue was.
  6. Black R33 GTST near Woollies QBN just now
  7. Swaps for an orange van and cash your way? Lol
  8. Pain has zero - I repeat - ZERO to do with any muscles (though I won't discount they're somehow the cause). The pain is ON THE BONE. On the TOP EDGE of my patella (when standing upright). In case nobody here knows what your patella actually is (which I know isn't the case, but you're trying hard to prove otherwise lol), it's your KNEE CAP. Yes, the bone. My pain is ON THE BONE.
  9. My pain is definitely not on the inside of my knee so to speak. It's on the outside edge where you'd expect your various quad ligaments to be attached to the patella. Can trigger the pain by firmly pressing/rubbing the area of the bone. It's exactly like I just banged my knee on the corner of a desk or something (or the head stem of a pushbike, as I've done countless times before)
  10. And actually have a somewhat concerning pain on the top of my patella....like the ligament is trying to tear itself away from the bone. Not doing any more squats today. This f**ks me off big time.
  11. Absolutely failed haha...but I feel f**king horrible this morning, absolutely no energy or motivation
  12. ...after that...? You're nuts lol
  13. Hahaha Boz! I'm undecided whether I should try for a 1RM on squats tomorrow morning before I do my working sets...currently on 140kg 5x5 (almost), with a belt reckon I could do 160?
  14. lol nope, not for a bit longer
  15. Just completed the stupid 8 hour motorbike Ps course, 100% pass. f**k that went on forever lol
  16. You can't out train a ~3000 calorie surplus, don't be naive.
  17. I'd say depending on how much you actually have to lose, 500-750g of fat loss per week wouldn't be too detrimental. Your lifting would eat shit I reckon though, but that's just from lack of fuel. I can't comment on lean muscle gain sorry. Not even broscience like the above lol
  18. Lol @ birds being completely wrong it's from doing almost 60km of riding in the sun wearing a singlet.
  19. Ugh two typos there lol, waking* up, you're* lol But yeah so many things became really difficult
  20. I know that feeling...months of washing up with agonising cramps lol. Good luck though, your tough
  21. oh holy shit on the injury Leesh, that sucks! sounds a lot like some of the pains I was getting when I crushed my T5
  22. Congratulations on the win, even if it was a tied first still a good effort....also wtf @ your mate's massive weight drop :S Would I stack up? lolz, tomorrow morning should be interesting,
  23. I just found it was a good way of pulling the water out of the fat layer, really it's just fasting. It's not actually "burning" a heap of fat away, obviously.
  24. Drink shitloads of water tonight, try not to hit the booze too hard....at least alcohol is a diuretic lol. Drink a heap of water before bed, but nothing when you wake up. Have a hot shower beforehand too maybe. Just gonna have to rely on convincing your body to drop water then dehydrating it.
  25. Dude if it's just for the one day, I strongly suggest this (incoming broscience): 2 days prior to the day, eat your usual clean lunch, then nothing but water until dinner. For dinner have a protein shake. The next day you will consume nothing with caloric value, which pretty much leaves you with water, BCAA supps (make sure no carbs), thermogenics, black tea/coffee without sugar, and you get the idea. During this day do a heap of really low weight lifting and a bit of cardio - you wanna get rid of fluid while still trying to encourage your muscles to hold onto a bit. Don't forget you're not eating anything at all this day, just non-caloric fluids. After you wake up the next morning and take a piss/whatever, take a pic of how you look in the mirror and post results. I'm sure there's more effective ways of doing this, but I stumbled upon how effective this can be when I got my tongue pierced and had no choice lol
