  1. haha nice nice. My mate will be living with his missus, not sure what apartment/townhouse they're in though. His description suggested when he reverses out of his car space, he can "practically reverse into your car" or something lol
  2. lol screw that can do pec flies with housemate's dumbbells
  3. Hell yeah! The primary reason for getting my own shit is lately I've absolutely dreaded going to the gym most days....like I'd do anything to find an excuse not to be there....usually ends up being coz I've got zero interest in waiting ages for douchebags to stop f**king around wasting time with olympic bars/squat racks lol. This will fix that problem.
  4. Personally had good experience with the guys from Kim's in Belco, as a weekend cash job.... Though I wouldn't recommend taking the car ANYWHERE unless it's got an aftermarket ECU that you can drop the RPM and perhaps boost limits right down, so whomever's hands you leave it in for the day CANNOT take it for a thrash.
  5. Ordered the 180kg package just now (http://www.cyber-market.com.au/cyberfit-power-rack-180kg-olympic-weight-flatincline-bench-p-592.html). Keen.
  6. Will try to get online this evening if I could be farked working it out lol
  7. Up for sale is my Norco downhill bike, the A-line Park Edition (one bike below their competition model for that year). Link to primary FS thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/433047-fs-norco-downhill-pushbike-serious-shit-immaculate/ $1000 FIRM or swaps for good BMX/road bike with cash adjustments as needed. More detail in above thread.
  8. Yo peeps, up for grabs is a 2007 Norco A-line park edition downhill pushbike in absolutely excellent condition!! I bought this bike brand new mid-2007 (RRP$3999), and ultimately since purchase I've used it much more as a commuter than anything even close to what it was designed for. For all intents and purposes, this bike has hardly been used (which is my reason for sale - I just can't justify owning this beast). Hardly any scratches on the thing aside from the pedals from laying it down....it practically looks unused Link to webpage for specifications on bike: http://www.norco.com/2007bikes/templates/model/enlarge.php?id=20&view=&deets=2 I've come off this bike ONCE, and on this occasion the f**ker ended up on top of me anyway so absolutely no harm came to it lol....otherwise it's hardly missed a beat, short of a failure on the forks that Marzocchi covered under warranty even though at the time the bike was almost 2 years PAST the end of the warranty lol PRICE: $1000 FIRM, which is already well below what I feel it's worth even considering the age. Will consider swaps for a good BMX or road cycle with any necessary cash adjustments. Test rides and inspections are more than welcome, just hit me up here or 0431391359. Bike is located in Queanbeyan outside of business hours, however it currently resides in the back of my van so during work hours it's in the Belco area (Bruce). Happy to go for a short drive over lunchtimes for anyone that's actually interested.
  9. Pfft softcock GLWS regardless! Wish I could snap it up though, kinda the only car that'd get me back into Skylines.
  10. Put a motorcycle muffler on the screamer pipe that'll sound ridiculous
  11. lol my bad I told my mate he should buy your car Shell since he was in the market for an S15, and incidentally he recently moved into your little part of the townhouse complex LOL...his name's Kyle, I told him to say hi and check out your car if he sees you
  12. Oh, I know I don't need OTT gear lol....just going with the "do it once, do it right" ideology bar definitely won't bend from what I can tell, especially with as much as I'll ever have on it - they loaded the fark out of it in the pics to demonstrate the sturdiness of the cage lol So it seems nobody has any reasons NOT to go with that complete setup? If that's the case, I may very well go with it.
  13. It's never done. You know I'm right And f**k off don't tempt me lol....I just wouldn't enjoy a standard RB25 though would be all for blowing a couple of thousand on something I can thrash and enjoy, but for that price I'd never get something I'd actually enjoy and if I did, it's because it was well and truly on its last legs lol Bike still scares me though, so at least I've got something fun to get around on....just want a ballsy car again though heh
  14. It felt a bit like that last time lol....running the f**king gauntlet of endless problems
  15. I'd never buy an R32 Would have to be a very very very neat 33 GT-R (preferably series 3 and modded) or newer. I'd consider anything with an RB25DET in it, if it were in great condition and cheap lol.....coz god knows the purchase price is only the beginning in this game
  16. ^^^ LOL of course Dan! Though you're right, definitely need to put disclaimers left right and centre in here That being said, the quality of the rack and bench actually look to be quite good. I know I've seen some half decent gym setups here in Canberra using those exact same benches (so I'd also assume they were using the rack too), and for my level this stuff is well good enough. Like I said though, bar quality and plate sizes are the only concerns at all - and even then I know they'd be fine, I'm just pedantic
  17. Would if I could, but I definitely wouldn't be buying a stock standard Skyline with the proceeds (Golf R would be on the books lol)...would need to be already modified for ~300rwkw or more, ACT rego, and come with a RWC before I'd consider another heartache
  18. Don't have $15k, especially for another Skyline If I didn't have the van I'd probably be all over this.
  19. Alrighty peeps, as a few of you may know I'm looking to buy all my own shit very soon. After asking around a little, I'm currently looking at the following shite: "Complete" setup (thanks Dan): http://www.cyber-market.com.au/cyberfit-power-rack-180kg-olympic-weight-flatincline-bench-p-592.html I'm ever so slightly sceptical on the potential quality of the bar in this package given the price, as well as worried the plates aren't a large enough diameter (hence bar will be closer to the ground for deadlifts). If anyone thinks either of these worries are justified, I'd be looking to get just the bench and cage from that package then purchasing bar and weights separately - for example:: http://www.ironedge.com.au/store/weightlifting-bumper-plate-pack.html Thoughts on this gear? Obviously the IronEdge shit in the second link is definitely good quality stuff, I'm more just concerned about whether the weights in the complete setup are acceptable. Fanks
  20. Mortgage etc, needs teh kesh more than teh kar. Kinda wish I could buy it lol
  21. Mebe, got grandmother's 84th birthday dinner in Woden at 6:30, so if it finishes up and an appropriate time I'll shoot on over
  22. Trades for a MY11 TDi VW Caddy Van (manual) with cash your way?
  23. Personally I've found the 3 day split to be the best. Easy to keep track of progress, and hits every group well. Obviously it's no bodybuilding routine, since the goals with such routines are aesthetics rather than strength and functionality...however if you're eating well and pushing every session, you'll get great results indefinitely. While I was eating stupid amounts I was doing either 3 on 1 off, or just push/pull/legs/repeat until I felt I NEEDED a rest day. Think I went just a touch over 2 weeks without needing a day off haha
