Now you're really losing me. Sorry lol, I'm out of this one. Good luck brooooo.

Hey Markos, could you please clarify something here for me - is this 985kg RAW total a WORLD RECORD for the 110kg class, or an AUSTRALIAN RECORD? Just a little unsure on the wording, and can't really do much in the way of research on the work PC

i don't mean to sound like a dickhead (especially towards such a little sweetie as yourself, Dan), but you're still failing to answer the damned question lol The engine "turning over" has nothing to do with it firing up - when you turn the key to the start position, does the starter motor turn the crankshaft successfully? I repeat - this has nothing to do with the engine firing, simply whether or not the starter is doing its job. If the battery is flat or if the starter motor has failed, the answer you'll be giving me here is "no". When the key is turned to the final stage in the ignition (where it is supposed to start the engine), a few things should be happening - power is given to a small solenoid on the starter motor which causes the pinion gear on the starter motor's shaft to move out and engage with the flywheel. It then also gives power to the starter motor itself, causing it to turn the flywheel. If your battery has sufficient charge, these functions will still go ahead - the engine will "turn over". Should the engine fail to fire as it should (and subsequently begin to run), the issue at hand will lie somewhere in the ignition system or fuel system (I'm not sure what will happen if the AFM is unplugged - will it not fire at all or run in some sort of limp mode?). Given you unplugged the AFM and ignitor, this is most likely where the fault lies - potential bad connection in the plugs (possibly from moisture as you suggested), or potential failure of one of these parts (possibly just bad luck when you plugged them back in). While there are many many many things that can stop an engine from starting correctly, you should always start the investigation with things that have recently been fiddled with, especially if the car was running fine before you fiddled with them

STEROIDZ!!! hahaha but no seriously. f**k. Monster. Good to see pics like this, further separates the physique of a powerlifter from that of a "strong man", as most of us instinctively assume (myself included). -
Still didn't make it very clear lol....

Could still be a flat battery braaaaaaa. If it literally doesn't turn over at all, then either your starter motor is f**ked, the battery is dead, or a fuse/solenoid has shit itself somewhere. It's almost certainly nothing to do with the ignitor or AFM, unless it DOES turn over but just doesn't fire. When you put the key in the ignition and turn it to start the car, describe EXACTLY EVERYTHING that happens - does it make a rattle/clicking sound? Does the engine turn over but not fire? Does it prime the fuel system?

Also consider hamstrings could be too tight, in turn causing minor pelvic rotation > tight lower back muscles as they try to compensate/counter the pull from your hamstrings. This is almost certainly MY problem with lower back muscle pain.

I think Markos is sick of repeating himself lol

Surely it can't be good for your body (or at least digestive system) pushing that much through it lol, regardless of whether you're utilising all the calories or not

1000 to 3. Can count on one hand each occasion I've consumed ANY alcoholic beverage back to November 2011.

He wasn't suggesting Dan starts taking steroids; he was simply pointing out that there's no point to "test boosters" and you might as well just take the real deal instead.

Cheers for that Mitch

I'd feel bad though rofl

Chuck up some pics and get a rough idea on what you could trade it in for, then add a bit onto that and see what bites if it was a bit more average condition with those kms, I'd consider snapping it up to thrash it lol...but that's just me
-
It works - it's just like any other diet really. It just gives you the peace of mind to eat a variety of foods knowing you can....or something. Wouldn't work in extremes - like you couldn't just make your macros up of sugar, WPI, and butter lol
-
Yeah, as Zeb said - wut? Just wanna make sure that's correct
-
And a f**kload of calories

Don't take this the wrong way as I do appreciate your input, but without sources or proof of accreditation I'm still going with my mate's information on the topic. His ("self researched") knowledge in just about every bodybuilding related field is astounding, as quite literally it's his life. Co-owns a supp store, and pretty much lives for bodybuilding. I realise that yes, he still has no actual education or qualifications in the fields, but the extend and detail he's happy to go into shows he's put ridiculous hours into researching every aspect of his chosen lifestyle/profession. Definitely not broscience. Of course fruit should still be taken in moderation, and ultimately the sugar content of most fruits is pretty low anyway (the subject came up when I was clarifying honey vs cane sugar for a sweetener, so the info I received was more based around honey which will be a much higher concentration of fructose+glucose than that in fruits). It was more of a general thing - "just because it's nutritional and healthy, doesn't mean it should be overlooked"
-
Don't be fooled by the whole "it's from fruit and fruit is healthy therefore it's ok" bullshit. Fruits are great thanks to being full of vitamins, minerals, fibre etc etc, but that doesn't mean that their sugar content should be ignored just because of that. My understanding from discussions with a well-knowledged mate on the subject over the weekend led to this (which may not be absolutely correct, but without offending anyone here I'll take his word over anyone on SAU) - fructose is more likely to be stored as fat than other sugars like sucrose (cane sugar). This is because it's slightly harder for the body to utilise, so unless your liver glycogen stores are depleted (nobody here really) or if you're also taking in a simpler sugar at the same time like sucrose/glucose, that fructose is going straight to storage. I'm happy to be corrected on this if someone can provide sources (since I'd like to know more), but yeah that's my current understanding. Fructose is a more complex chain carbohydrate than table sugar, and as a result is more likely to be stored as fat. Doesn't mean stop eating fruit, not at all! Just don't think that because it's nutritional you can ignore the fact it's still potentially loaded with sugar.

www.myfitnesspal.com However I don't use it any more lol....cbf

Oh also Shell you backed up another one of my points - you older folk didn't have exposure to the same things we do, so what makes you think your opinion is more correct than ours given we're the ones with the first hand experience of being raised with violent vidya gamz Another edit: how the hell was that post any better than my last one I got called out for???? I'd say it was written in the same tone lol...maybe I'm just really shit at making my point clear, and only now it's starting to make a bit more sense to people what I'm actually trying to say lol
-
Because you called me out in the way you did. It f**ks me off big time when someone more ignorant than I tries to tell me I'm wrong without offering a rebuttal. Especially in the way you did. If you spoke in that tone to someone on the street and they flogged you a good one in the jaw, I wouldn't at all feel sorry for you as you had it coming (not to say they had the right to hit you, of course). If you can't see what you did wrong in your post, just shut up and leave it here. Shell you just confirmed EXACTLY what I suspected people may have taken from my post - read my above reply to Eric EDIT: I swear I remember clarifying that in no way am I suggesting we intentionally desensitise children....where did that go :S
-
Yeah Eric I understood you were just debating as well, hence why I was so taken aback when my response was treated with such a lack of respect, regardless of what people thought of what I said. I was trying to respond maturely to your post (showing YOUR opinion respect), unfortunately some people here would rather show their own immaturity than add anything useful. Regarding soldiers and PTSD - I think that's quite different to what I'm getting at. I'm specifically talking about things that are either fictional, or second-hand. There would only be a few nasty things you could experience first-hand and come out of perfectly fine thanks to preparations, and combat in a war situation is definitely not one of them lol. I'd even go as far as to say that the ones that DO come out perfectly fine are the ones with underlying issues haha, but that's something I really have no grounds to comment on as I actually have zero experience I'll admit that my my point and the basis to my opinion is simply from my own personal experience(s) and that of my mates/those close to me. The first time I saw something truly f**ked up was a beheading video on someone's phone. I won't deny that at first it really shook me. However I understood the circumstances in which this took place were so far from normal, and that the people involved were f**king lunatics lol....I'm running out of words here, but all I can really say is that what I have personally witnessed (all second hand on a screen) hasn't screwed my mind in any noticeable way - certainly far from what some would like you to believe it WILL. With regards to the balance part, I don't think kids should be exposed to anything and everything, nor do I feel there's any NEED whatsoever to expose them (I think people may have interpreted my post to say that kids SHOULD be desensitised for their own good? If that's what anyone thought I meant - hell f**king no lol no way). I was raised from the get go being taught right from wrong, respect, manners, all that jazz. At least in my circumstances, I knew from a very early age what was normal and acceptable, and was taught the consequences of actions. Let's just say I was raised with good life risk-assessment skills haha (really don't want to sound arrogant or up myself here, nor do I mean any disrespect - please bear with me lol) Your final point with the video games thing is where I feel my generation's opinion holds more value over your generation's opinion. We have first hand experience being raised with these admittedly over the top games and films, so if anyone could tell you if it's making them more likely to commit an act of violence, surely it's us...right? (yes, that was a general statement haha, of course there's nutbags out there that will take everything literally). This is where I still feel that if you've been raised appropriately and taught right/wrong etc etc you can enjoy the game/film knowing that what's going on has absolutely NO PLACE in real life and should never be enacted...do you get where I'm coming from here? I realise there's a lot of variables and plenty of counters/rebuttals to this point of mine, but can we at least see what I'm trying to get at? lol
-
If you don't know how to say I'm making myself look like an idiot without coming across like a f**king wanker yourself, don't even try. You f**ked it up this time mate, perhaps read your own post a few hundred times to make sure you understand what it sounds like when you're being condescending. The fact you admit you don't have extensive knowledge confuses me even further - what in the hell were you thinking speaking like that if you aren't even deluded into thinking you've got something to stand on?
