I'd rather pour money into travelling and snowboarding (preferably both at the same time) -

I love Skylines as a car, it's just I hate my experiences with mine haha. If I could afford it, I'd go out and get myself a clean 33 GT-R tomorrow! -

f**kEN STRAYA -
Was watching a dude doing squats on the smith machine yesterday....he only had 70kg worth of plates on the thing, but holy jesus his "form" was horrific - even considering there is no real correct form for using this stupid machine. He was almost literally touching the ground with his ass, but it was a very violent descent and more or less bouncing off maximum ROM. Made me cringe hard.

It's ok, Big J can join me in being a badass mofo without a Skyline. haha. -
^^^ BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA gold
-
Pretty much lol. Only advantage I could see with getting a pure-BCAA for intraworkout supplement is if you tend to train a little longer than you should, so consuming them part way through your session could assist with repair and avoiding excessive catabolism.
-
^^^ lol yeah, he likes buying semi-broken cars (as he bought both my last skylines lol)
-
On your note about intraworkout shite, I've never bothered with anything except water (or milk, lol...I handled it fine but I definitely wouldn't recommend it during heavy lifting hahaha). I would personally stay as far away from anything that says it will give bigger muscle pump, since lately I'm finding particularly on leg or back/arms day, the forearm and quad/hamstring pump I'm experiencing is almost unbearable. For 'pull' movements, I'm actually going to start using straps as my forearms are causing failure due to immense pain from muscle pump well before the muscles I'm attempting to work do.

Not so much leangains as I haven't bothered reading into his methods enough, I just generally mean only eating between 6pm and 10pm (sorry, I don't know why I said 16 hours previously - I meant 20), and between these hours taking in your entire day's calories and appropriate macros. I found it very effective for controlling hunger (which is my biggest issue lately...I'm relentlessly craving food). On the couple of occasions recently I've either over eaten by a significant amount, or in preparation for family gathering (where I plan on over eating, lol), I've use IF to 'even things out' a little bit so to speak, and it was super effective with controlling hunger even in my insatiable state right now.
-
I'll not be eating for ~16 hours before training when I start my cutting diet will be starting it off with intermittent fasting to get my appetite back into check and under control, then I'll go back to a regular diet once I'm not craving food every minute of the day.

I'd have actually thought the majority of them would be prohibited from events, Markos?

Sometimes it's the latter regarding sleep etc, though whether or not you agree that people should be relying on them as heavily as they are, it'd be pretty silly to suggest hands down that there's no basis to their effects and that they're just a placebo. Even if you get plenty of rest and nutrients and are operating at your peak, I can assure you that a pre-workout supplement will still provide some benefits...whether you feel these benefits made any difference to your workout or not is entirely your call. It's afternoons like this one that I know there's no way I'm mentally able to hit the gym when I get away from work and still train as intensely as I would when I'm feeling 100% (say like first thing Saturday morning). There's a big difference between being physically and mentally exhausted, and right now I'm suffering strongly from the latter. This is where the PWO comes in, because it will both (arguably by some) reduce my current mental exhaustion as well as mask what remains of it, meaning the whole time I'm at the gym I'm not sitting there wishing it would be over so I can go home and unwind, and am instead focusing on pushing that little bit harder than I did on an exercise last time.

Bought a bottle of 120 25mg caps nice n cheap the day after they were made illegal for sale. Can't necessarily attribute any increase in focus directly to the DMAA, though it does at the very least give a MASSIVE placebo effect that I can attribute much more productive/time efficient sessions to.
-
Yeah some pre-workout formulas are based way too strongly on a massive stimulant rush, which while it will make you feel a million bucks during your workout, will generally leave you feeling really mentally fried for hours after, while still ensuring you're not getting to sleep no matter how dead you are I love these ones, though unfortunately they will generally perpetuate the problem and subsequent need for the same supplement every day
-
Aren't they really all more or less the same shit anyway? haha On days I'm just not feeling it thanks to a long day at work and/or a shithouse sleep the night previous, I've got myself a tub of Buzz which I'll have a scoop of as well as emptying 2x 25mg DMAA caps into the mix. Does exactly what I need it to by simply helping me focus on actually doing my workout rather than sitting there like a zombie procrastinating. My 2c Also inb4 pre-workout haters.

Tell him for $13,000 you're more than happy to sell him a punch in the dick. hahaha
-
LOL ffs, someone had to say it well played

http://www.proteinking.com.au/ seems to be pretty good on prices too if anyone else gives a shite haha.

Anyone have any idea what happened to A1 Supplements? From what I can see, they've all but vanished without explanation.
-
hahaha yep! Not a public servant though. Been there, done that. f**king joke it was lol
-
hahahaha snap! I do my work, it's just when it comes to fixing my own issues sometimes I just don't see the point when I can make do how it is lol. Plus I get the feeling I won't be leaving my position any time in the near future....considering my role and workload, I'm disgustingly overpaid where I am

I haven't had my car for a while now (and even when I did, it was off the road most of the time) so you've got no excuses NOT to be on here
