Most sporty cars have been driven hard and if they cant put up with a little high revving action now and then they shouldnt be on your shopping list. The 370 (not a 270 or 360 like your friend called it ) is renowned for its reliablity and im sure even one with a few km's under it will last at least the six or so years you plan on having it if not longer. Would def get him to get the scratches fixed up but other than that it seems like a fine car for the money and the rims are easy enough to replace, if your planning on tracking it you should keep the ones it has and have a separate set for the track anyway! anyway keep us posted on the BRZ drive, i know where your heart lies though!

pffft i hear 400 is about right for GTR's and have seen a few with at least that at tracks perform with no problems.. even factoring in a respray it still sounds like a bargain!
