as i understand it m8 as long as your car is road worthy ( it passes the pits) its legal :-) dont quote me on that but im sure thats how it works as long as u delcare u have that mod and the police dont pull u up and if they do ur car passes the pits then ur car is legal.

i dont know whats worse when your driving when the cops spot u. the fact u turned ur neons off when u saw them which means ur basically admitting u shouldnt have em on lol or just leaving em on?? its a tough decision, luckily u had a cop on a good nite by the sounds of it from the stories of other people that have been pulled over lol or they wanted KFC as well as long as u get away with it is all that matters

yh i know what you mean , i aint had a crash in 6yrs (touch wood) but it lets me sleep easy at night lol

Greg i totally understand what your saying and you are right BUT what if someone hits your car (god forbid they dont) and they have no insurance?? and u have 3rd party which will not cover you?

i guess it just depends if you think its worth the risk, to me a extra $1k a yr its not worth the risk :-)

but with that if someone in a clapped out corrolla hit u wiv out insurance how would you fix ur car?? it wouldnt be ur fault and 3rd party wont cover u? its only there to fix the car you hit?

people actually make websites about this stuff?? its interesting over here how people who enjoy cars are classed as "hoons" ( i know its the small minority that ruin it as always) in the uk you get called a "Boy Racer" crazy really

i do agree with the whole insurance thing but to be honest on the roads i would only ever have fully comp on my skyline yh its a bit more all my mods r covered they replace it to how it sits in my garage BUT have you guys thought about... what if a guy/girl hits u and has no insurance???? he/she does not have a driving license and is driving a stolen car?? 3rd party wont cover u. its worth thinking about. yh u might pay the car over but if this did happen say a yr into owning ur 15k skyline well u have just lost ur car all to save 1k a yr :-)

hi all i have just spent 8 years in the uk and have been back for nearly a year and keep hearing peoples cars refered to as Ricers? what is this! lol sounds stupid but we never used this term in the UK. any help would be good :-) cheers people
