Hi, I'm chasing some info. Is it possible, would the internals from a s15 diff fit inside a r33 gtst housing? I'm just chasing the taller ratio from the s15 in my r33. I've goggled, tried ns.com and searched around a fair bit but it I only found once instant of it being done. I've also heard abs and non abs diffs are different too.. just wondering if anyone knows for sure.?

I've got a set in great condition, but won't be available for sale for another month (need them for roadworthy) if your still chasing a set then I'll be around.

yeh well I look after my boxes (oil change ever 15k) and they don't get drifted... hmm so the getrag maybe aren't so out of reach, sweeett... ha people want r33 diff's? I got 2, one with a cracked housing (hammer + attiude problem) and one in the car now anyone got a s15 diff laying around?

epic win I don't come read this for a few days and it's all about cops and robbers hypothetically, as I'm a scientist *adjust labs coat* I may have some lovely nice stretches of smooth road far enough out of the way to be able to test top end speeds. Plus I just have to do it cuz this little skyline is just gunna! yeh but getrag boxes cost a little too much for may taste (8k-10k correct?) and it's to be a 'streetable' car <-- under the impression getrag boxes are race application. Unless I can sell my current box (under 100k on it) for a decent amount but I'd need to retain the housing all the same... but yesh, taller ratio sounds like the go, but I always wonder getting a s/h taller ratio diff is always suspect, as ya never know what sort of life it had before hand.

allo all, ok, so I has a long term project. to build a 300km/h+ Skyline. What I have to work with: Stock r33 '97 GTST, 98000k. now I think the diff ratio are 4.11 (granted its had the whole rear cradle replaced so I'm not entirely sure whats in it...) <-- any way to find out? my main question, who makes a/m diff's for these things with tall ratio's? aka 3.9/3.7 ? i'm kinda iffy about getting s/h diff centres, not something I want going crunch...yesh, it won't be much chop on a stock engine, but I'm looking at a rb30/25 with a t04 in the long run as well.
