  1. Not subtle enough Should have said "I'm thinking of dressing up as neo from the matrix for a costume party... "
  2. yeah Accelerometers are accurate over very short periods of time, but not for car movement, even with a good quality high resolution 3-axis one. Too many variables... bumps, hills, etc...Even the most amazingly complex math in the world can't overcome that without additional assistance from a quality GPS signal or an ECU speed input...
  3. I'm interested in knowing the answer to this as well, need to get rid of some rear camber on my 33 gtst... Also the Hardrace ones say "2 Piece Set" and cost $179.... Does this mean that I need to buy 2 x $179, one "Set" per rear wheel? ($358 to adjust my rear camber)
  4. I went from A-LSD to a Non Vspec R230 diff and it was one hell of a headf&%k... Ended up using the A-LSD Tailshaft Flange in the New Diff, and GTR 6 bolt Half Shafts because luckily I had access to GTR Drive Shafts as well. Then because of the GTR Driveshaft splines being fatter than the GTST ones, I had to swap my wheel hubs for GTR ones as well. Very annoying few days of working on it But now... Nice tight GTR Rear end perfection, locks up nicely with a freshly rebuilt Nismo lsd disc kit in the 1.5 center
  5. If I'm doing a static burnout, the accelerometer shouldn't recognise any g forces apart from some slight vibration... If I'm rolling along at 60 on a rough road, it'll also not detect any g forces apart from slight vibrations... Unless I'm missing something, Accelerometers can't detect speed, so how would it know if its doing a burnout?
  6. I smell another clutch fry in the making....
  7. An accelerometer isn't going to know the difference between a burnout or a slide compared to cruising along at 60 on a rough road... or turning a corner. Unless you combine it with GPS which adds in the speed factor to the equation... but its still not reliable enough... Pulling Data from the front and rear wheel abs sensors and ecu's speed would be able to accurately detect a burnout or powerslide. The only time that the rears should be turning faster than the fronts is during a burnout or emergency braking...
  8. The seller should not be trusted to do a compression test and just provide the results, as these can easilly be 'tweaked'. You should do it yourself, or be present when the seller does it and make sure he's not tipping a bit of oil into the cylinders etc... Also, forgies would alter results as well right?
  9. Hi Bec, Michael (XR8TD) just messaged me and asked me to post in here to request you remove his booking as he can't make it anymore. Cheers
  10. GTST I mean I wanna know exactly how horribly common white R33's are, lol
  11. Alternatively, R33 numbers, ones that we might care about
  12. The fact that it was only done for one car makes me think it was a special order from the factory.
  13. / 2 people... ain't so bad.
  14. Changed my mind, to something a bit more adventurous for a day trip... Buller it is... And Liberty instead of Skyline and later in the week instead of tomorrow
  15. Scratch that... Just read that Snow Chains / Tyres are not required to be used at Mt Donna Buang Dorifto time
  16. Hilarious... So I'm thinking of going to Mt Donna Buang tomorrow for some snow fun with a friend of mine Will the GTST on Low Tread / Camber Worn RSR's make it? Diff is nice and tight atm, so won't be single spinning... but would be quite sideways Other option would be to swap to 80-90% Nangkang 17" rims with more wet friendly tyres. Thoughts? Give up on the skyline for the day and take her car instead? or my parents liberty (awd)? Don't want chains for such a little trip, plus not sure if I've got clearance for them
  17. Bitch drove a Micra... It was the only logical solution. I kept the bottom half... .... cos butterface.
  18. Excuse the mess, I'm in the process of cleaning the room near the tv.. . 2 x 24" 1920x1080 1 x 46" 1920x1080
  19. No matter what a stripper tells you, there's no sex in the champagne room... Oh, there's champagne in the champagne room... But you don't want champagne, you want sex. And there's no sex in the champagne room... Bunch of new exclusive member events are coming soon Keep an eye out
  20. If its primary use is as a desktop computer, honestly I'd be getting a 13" or a 15" laptop and then getting a Keyboard / Mouse / 24" Monitor 24" is so much better than 17" as your primary screen... Edit: Hell... or getting a desktop computer which can have killer specs for 2/3 of the price of a lower spec'd laptop... and then with the cash you've saved buy an iPad/Nexus10/Netbook for travel
  21. Not a problem, just write on the second entry form that she's "double entering" the car with you, then when they're working out groupings you'll be sure to be put in the same group and spaced far enough apart that the car won't die Obviously you're still entering two people, so two entry forms and payments will be required
  22. I did mine last weekend (I think) and they're looking mint Really refreshes the look of the car
  23. Stock Results @ 14m25s 155HP 127TQ Perrin Headerback Results @ 15m30s 156HP 131TQ Ummmmmm, what? This better do some serious boosts to the midrange, because the Perrin exhaust they installed in this video has a $900USD pricetag? Am I missing something?
  24. People would be in uproar about something like that... Our government overloads going all Big Brother and watching our movements, locations, etc
  25. Sounds good Love that little burble to the idle She drove off! Quick, take the camera!
