2 mate's of mine had LAMS bikes a while ago... One was some open Honda 250, and the other was a Honda Hornet 250. Neither of them even came close to the performance of a 33 GTST with just an exhaust... Like nowhere near. Off the line, or acceleration while rolling, they both were miserable... So get something LOW weight if you want to have fun with it.

hmmmmm, have you tried resetting your ECU and letting it relearn how to idle etc? Could be a small vac leak that only opens up sometimes, and the ecu isn't compensating for it?
