Miguelone and I rebuilt the lsd center of a 2nd hand diff from a Non-Vspec 33R with new Nismo clutches, so no, it didn't come with running in oil. I'm running in the discs with Nulon Fully Synthetic LSD Oil 80W140 Diff bearings were in fine condition, so they've been kept. (does this mean I don't need to worry about keeping it under 80km/h at all?)

Yep, this part I've got down pat... What I'm wondering about is how crucial is the low speeds and how many km before I switch out the oil for the first time. Considering I'm using a "used" crown wheel, is the low speed stuff mainly to protect that if it was brand new? Or would higher speeds affect the new LSD Center as well...

My R33 GTRST made it to work this morning It's around the corner getting an alignment as we speak. Now, who can remember the Bedding in instructions for a newly rebuilt 1.5way with Nismo discs... Hamish? I need to go and do 30 minutes of slow figure 8's in an empty carpark somewhere that police aren't going to show up and defect me for "doing hektic skids"... This will flatten and bed in the plates in the lsd center by moving/grinding them back and forth against each other. Keep speeds down (like try to stay under 60 or so) for the next 1000km? This one is going to be tricky since its a daily (but I can take mainly 60 zones to get to work and back)

GTR Shafts don't fit in GTST hubs. The Drive shafts on my car (A-LSD GTST) were 30mm splined 5 bolt shafts The new Diff has 6 bolt half shafts, so I decided to use the GTR Shafts that I got with the diff, but then discovered that GTR Shafts have 32mm splines. So I pinched the 32GTR Hubs from Matt Borci's 32R rolling shell and swapped them into my knuckles... Like a glove... ? Definite learning experience Now I just need to get my ABS working again and I'll be very happy

My car runs again... I now have an R33 GTST with a Full GTR Rear end.... 33GTR R230 LSD with new Nismo 12kg plates, 33GTR Driveshafts, 32GTR Wheel Hubs. Can't wait for DECA

Idle Air Control valve, it controls the amount of air that enters the engine on idle, adjusting it for additional loads (Air Conditioning, etc) as well as Cold Starts. Sometimes it gets clogged up with carbon buildup and doesn't function as it should. It sits on the back of the intake plenum (it's about the size of a fist) and can be removed and cleaned out with a good spraying of Parts Cleaner.
