Hi guys,
Probably a silly question but for safety I'm going to ask it anyway...
R33 GTST S2, PowerFC, Highflowed R34 GTT Turbo and all the usual supporting mods.
We've just spent the weekend doing a major service on my car and discovered that the intake cam gear was out by one tooth (it was retarded).
The car was tuned for 250rwkw with the intake cam gear back by one tooth, now that we have fixed it, does this now mean that the car's timing is quite a bit more advanced than the ECU thinks it is? +15 degrees advanced if my understanding of the calculations is correct.
It idles and revs fine, but haven't driven it properly yet.
Is this safe to drive around if I stay off boost?
I need to drive it on Friday to get to my tuner for a retune (35km to work in peakhour, then later 10km to the tuner)
Cheers,
Simon
