Still a bit more than I wanted to spend on DECA and a few track days. $240 fitted for a 265/35/18 595RS-R vs $730/2=$365 unfitted,unshipped for a 265/35/18 R888 Different league of tyre I know, but for my level of competition... its a bit more than I was willing to spend this time around, considering I just bought a grand worth of rims as well Wallet hates me enough already.

If you've got the stock airbox, you can tuck it under there pretty nicely as well. Makes it super hidden.

It's weird, half the places I look advertise them as semi slicks, but they look like (and have the specs of) like... extreme performance tyres. Either way, bang for buck it looks like they're what I'm after

I'm waiting on Exhaust Manifold Studs, Belts, Timing Belt kit and a bunch of gaskets... Snapped a dump->turbo bolt off in the turbo when I was test fitting the new bellmouth dump/front pipe, called out "The Thread Doctor" to remove it properly so fasttracked my Exhaust Manifold removal so he could do the snapped exhaust studs while he was at it. Should run a bit better, get onto boost earlier and hold it longer with out the exhaust leak and stock dump Federal 595 RS-R's in 265/35/18 on the rear, 235/40/18 on the front. $940 fitted and balanced, not too shabby.

Dropping off my new 18" BBS RG-R's for some new shoes tomorrow (235&265 Semi's). No grip + ABS on the skid pan last deca pissed me off so much that I'm going to extremes

I'm still cleaning and painting stuff this week because the last of the parts are arriving today/tomorrow to Migeulone's place in Heathcote... then we're going to throw it all back together this Saturday. Tune is booked in for Friday 30th at 4pm. Cutting it a little close, but it'll get there Better than the Feb DECA where I drove off the Chasers dyno, straight to shepparton

Where is the best place in the eastern suburbs to get some Federal 595 RS-R's in 2 x 235/45/17 and 2 x 255/40/17 and how much do you think it'll be? kgo, wasteland contacts, unite!

Ah alright, must have been a nice safe tune then 265rwkw, yay powwwwar My coilpacks died as well within 24 hours of the new power levels, not on the dyno though. Mine's going in for a retune with a new dump and the exhaust mani leak fixed, hopefully will bring some nice results. My goal is now to beat whatever you get on thursday

What was in the tank when you got your car tuned the other week? (Also how much did you make?) Now that you're tuned, if you go to a Shell or Mobile etc and you do get a randomly low octane fuel, you'll know about it pretty quick

There's seriously no BP or United up there? I'm guessing E85 is off the table as well then?

Also make sure that if you do need to resort to bashing a screwdriver through the filter, don't do it low down enough that you're going to go directly into the threaded shaft that it screws onto.
