Just sent off my forms and paid. AASA renewal in progress, since mine expires 2 days before the event! Jason, you and I must have gotten ours at the same time just before the August 2011 DECA. Yeah the Wet DECA was balls... All over the place and it was more luck than anything else when I was out there There's a section in here of the wet skid pan, I had good tyres and wasn't pushing hard at all, still spun out heaps... No fun. Dry on the other hand... is a lot more fun The main thing is, when it's dry there is consistent grip. When it's wet, the grip changes with every meter of the track. See you guys up there

Somehow I got mixed in with a bogan Commodore cruise on my way home around the springvale area... They wanted to go me so bad, didn't give them the satisfaction. Saw a few cop cars as well, but whatcha gonna do... When you've got cammed ls1 commodores and one with Group A number plates next to you, surely they wouldn't pick on the skyline?

The incentive for the workshop comes when you gather 20+ cars, many of them stock or with mild mods that don't require a tune. But the owner would love to know what kind of power it is making... Later on down the track (could be months away) they decide that they want to mod the car a bit more, and they take it to the workshop that they've been to before, to they guys that they've talked to who sounded like they knew their shit.

I recall sitting around at the last DECA, planning the fastest way to get Leon back to Melbourne if Hayley rang I believe everyone chipping in for a Charter Plane + Parachute was legitimately on the table. But this DECA... Bloody Groovin' the Moo is on the same day FUUUUUUUUU

There was just another Hoon Story on ACA, about 5 minutes ago. It was a bunch of stock footage (3 or 4 clips reused from the Prinny Highway story from the other week) and it mostly revolved around a guy with a VT SS who had an accident and injured a mate while hooning with friends in the car and how he's vowed never to hoon again and to take it to and keep it on the track. The story finished and it went back to the main girl and she said "These Hoons are giving Car Enthusiasts a bad name". The final quote from her makes me think that they are beginning to make a differentiation between hoons and car enthusiasts.

I know its not a "safe method"... but I'm going to have to pull out. Groovin' the Moo is on in Bendigo on the 5th Please remove me from the list.

Spotted a blue 34 next to me on Blackburn Road at about 7:15pm. 30 seconds earlier on Westal Road there was a bloke in a Barina beeping me and telling me my car was nice... I left him in a limiter launching cloud of black smoke. His girlfriend shat herself.
