  2. Hi Jason, Come & Try CAMS Licences are only available to competitors who are new to motorsport and have never had a CAMS License before. So you'll need to renew your CAMS License in the standard way at http://www.cams.com.aubefore the event date. If possible do it asap, as it sometimes takes a few days to send out the new membership cards in the post.
  3. I'll be there!

  5. Where's the rest of it?
  6. Give the upper radiator hose a squeeze when the car is fully up to temp (the hose will be HOT, use a rag) but it should be quite firm to the squeeze. If it's not (you can easily squeeze it in more than say 5mm with your fingertips) then look at grabbing a replacement cap as it could be a $15 fix. A standard one should be fine.
  7. 98 is too hot for the street (not dangerous to the engine hot, that'd be 110c+ water and oil temps) Are you boosting around to get the temps that high? Or just normal off boost driving? If its getting that hot off boost, then your cooling system isn't able to keep up, it should sit a few degrees above your thermostat's opening temperature (High 70's / Low 80's) can someone remind me what this is for an RB26?) if the cooling system is up to scratch. If you're concerned about it, grab a Koyorad to replace the OEM radiator (if thats what you're running) and make sure that your water pump is doing its job properly. But first step is, make sure your system is holding pressure... sometimes the radiator caps go bad and push out a lot of coolant into the overflow
  8. Zing.
  9. It's hot. Aircon in the office is arse. Was nicer in the car on the way to get lunch, and the evo A/C strength varies with RPM
  10. One letter at a time, with the laser sound effect. Loading up from a floppy disc. Man, we old.
  11. PM me then

  13. I gave him a disappointed glance... I feel that he learnt his lesson. He showed remorse by jet skiing around the lake all day, hating life I'm sure.
  14. Up at eildon over the break, there's a queue of about 10 trailers with boats on the ramp, coming and going... We were down by the water holding our boat waiting for our trailer to move up in the queue and this fat bogan comes up and says "How about this queue huh? Do you think people would mind if I skip past them since I'm only unloading jetskis?" So I say "Well this queue is moving now, and people aren't going to the side of the ramp because its bogged out from flogs in 4wd's launching there, so I wouldn't" "Yeah good point" he says and wanders off. 5 minutes later he backs down past everyone, over the rocks to the side of the boat ramp and launches two jetskis off the trailer. Takes 3 times as long as people who are using the ramp correctly... Getting death stares from everyone else at the ramp from skipping in front and f**king the bank even more. Zero fcks given, because jetski bogan
  15. My concern is, if the skyline can't make it BACK from somewhere... trailer = good. Also making dropping off the skyline to Racepace / Alignments / etc easier since I can just drop it off and drive away without needing a lift to get home again. E85 + Driving to Winton / Shepparton / PI = $180 on fuel for the day. Would be cheaper driving there (even towing) on 98. Saving on Skyline Rego costs and Insurance will pay for a good trailer over 2 years. Saving on Evo Insurance will pay for the difference in price of the Evo -> SSV over 3-4 years. Gets rid of the boy-racer image that comes with driving the evo / big wing / exhaust (even though its a lot less than the skyline was) Plenty of undercover space for the trailer / skyline at my sisters new place / farm.
  16. Actually looks like a VE Series I SSV can be had for $16k/17k, so thats within range.
  17. Thats it, I don't Also, I've had na 4's, turbo 6's and turbo 4's, I want to try something different... So want to try daily a v8 to see what all the fuss is about. Can't knock it till you try it, yeah?
  18. Don't wanna spend $30k though, might even be looking at a VZ if I wanna stick to my price range (of not too much outlay after selling the evo). and the VZ makes me cry.
  19. Thinking of getting a VE SS or similar as a daily... Want something that can tow, and then de-rego skyline / drop insurance costs Anyone driven one long term? Pro's / Con's? Go.
  20. Thanks Greg, small typo in that thread. I've fixed it up to display the correct lower price
  21. Careful with this, if you drift an evo you get slight sidewall scuff and then get defected on new years eve by the Mansfield HWP. Fkn country cops. Because of this, I recommend dreamworld (plus movieworld if you've got time for 2). Dreamworld also has its own water park, if you want to go cool off but don't want a full day at wet n wild.
  22. CBA Mastercard that I got back in first year uni Has an annual fee (maybe $99?), but it's removed if you put more than $1000 through it over the year (lel) wut? 60 days interest free, and I don't think I've ever let it get there before being paid off, in the past 10 years. Has points, but nothing decent comes of it... maybe a $100 gift card here and there.
