  1. Unnnnffff! That does look good... What colour is yours again? Do you ever have clients in the car? Will a 1.5" drop lower ride quality enough to bother them?
  2. Borrow for how long?
  3. It was about as serious as the prospect of taking an a5 to a workshop that we frequent to get it done... Either put some trust in a euro workshop to do it, or don't modify it...
  4. Alternatively... Do the suspension work yourself, then take it somewhere to get it aligned... Then you'll have noone to blame but yourself
  5. Talk to Mohsen, he's a stance guy... he'll have a cousin that can lower it for you, they'll even put on their new adidas trackies so they don't mark the leather
  6. From what I've seen / experienced: RTR = Low by a few percent Racepace = Low by a few percent, and not an accurate torque figure (its calculated via road speed, with no tacho input) Chasers = Fairly Accurate Trent = High by approx 10% Thats why when I had an RTR tune at 255rwkw I'd tell people "255, so about 270 on trents for comparison" At the end of the day though, who gives a crap what the figures say... What you want is a Pre-Tune overlay on the final printout so you can see the difference in the shape / area under the curve. And lots of people always seem to forget that when you roll out of the shop, if you're actually running the same tune / timing as your max power run then your car MAY last until the end of the week, or until a slightly suboptimal batch of fuel / hot day.
  7. They can throw a pair of turbos on any old 2.8 that rolls in the door, the RPM 2.8 is a specific base build so we at least know what mods have been done to make it a 2.8, if its been ported, etc
  8. https://www.facebook.com/groups/skylinesaustralia/permalink/10153683180147446/ Someone didn't get my joke... yet, understands where someone who says that is coming from
  9. Happy Birthday Brah
  10. Hilux's are dual battery standard? $195ea at a dealer, if its a decent quality battery with warranty... ain't so bad, you're not paying so WGAF...
  11. Shhhhhh, napping.
  12. There's a reason that a certain local Nissan dealership approached an importing friend of mine and asked him to order in half a dozen parts from a nissan dealership in the UK... Even with an importing fee, the local dealership themselves saved thousands compared them buying it direct from Nissan Japan. Hell I think Nissan Brighton wanted ~$800 for an RB N1 water pump, ended up buying it off ebay from Nissan Tacoma in the USA for approx $250 delivered in under a week (Faster than Nissan Brighton could have gotten it for me) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Nissan-Skyline-GTR-R34-RB26DETT-N1-Water-Pump-R32-R33-21010-24U27-/231101018360 Exchange rate has changed a bit nowdays though http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Nissan-N1-Oil-Pump-RB26DETT-RB25DET-R34-R33-R32-Brand-New-15010-24U01-/231650383225?hash=item35ef705579&vxp=mtr Hell, an N1 oil pump for $240USD? Yes please.
  13. Why do his overalls not have sleeves? This seems like a fairly major OH&S oversight...
  14. butt yoo sed breaks...
  15. Or not... http://www.amazon.com/2010-LS600HL-Rotors-Replacement-Direct/dp/B009YM0RL2/ref=sr_1_5?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1440053435&sr=1-5&keywords=LS600HL+brake+pads I definately wouldn't want to price up replacement regenerative-braking motors for it though...

  19. I have two... would consider selling the Go Pro Hero HD 2 and all its accessories as I only ever seem to use 1 at a time...
  20. This page has many potential signature quotes.
  21. You're buying an expensive car, so... 1. Find some reputable performance workshops nearby the the cars location, call them up and ask if they'd do a pre-purchase inspection for you. 2. Ask the seller if you can take the car for a pre-purchase inspection, if they say no. Walk away, it's not the car you want. 3. FLY up there, we're not talking about a $3000 R32 GTST, spend $500 on a weekend trip to go see the car in person... Drive it, get the pre purchase inspection done. 4. Once happy, go into your bank and get a bank cheque drawn up (make sure they're open on the days your planning on buying) 5. Make sure all the paperwork is in order before you leave, you don't want to be missing an interstate signature. 6. Deliver the car yourself to the car transport place. Taking plenty of pictures of the car out the front of the facility, to prove any damage that could be caused. 7. Hire security guards if it is going to be travelling through NSW at all... I hear they've got a problem with non-34R owners getting jealous.
  22. Doesn't sound like you were using much FOCUS while you were driving...
  23. We're talking about the Golf, not the Squashiii
