Maths like that does have practical real world applications for 99% of the population, but I'm STILL trying to figure out exactly what differentiation / anti-differentiation is used for... That was the main thing I struggled with during VCE math, purely because I couldn't relate the figures or formula to anything, despite asking the teacher multiple times and feeling stupid for needing to ask when everyone else seemed to get it.

So cleaning up my nanas old house on the weekend and now there are 150 or so mini bottles of booze sitting on my loungeroom floor, some of them are quite old... eg mini Jim Beam bottles measured in 1/10 pint, a crownie measued in fl oz, etc. Does anyone know if there is a market for old bottles of booze? Do people collect them? Are there places out there who would value and buy the lot from me?

I put a Nismo Thermostat in my R33, it now sits bang on 68 degrees no matter what, until I start putting my boot in. Then the koyorad keeps it below 95c even after 4+ hot laps on the track... Only issue is it is TOO cold... my tuner had to adjust the powerfc water temp adjustment data, because he was needing to spend time on the dyno trying to warm it up so it would be running in the correct parts of the maps for power.

2nd hand in usable condition will be about $150 - $250. If you won't be installing it yourself, labour is the only pricey bit here. Highflowing your current one will machine your stuffed one (assuming no damage to the housing) and replace the center bits for about $800-1200, however for this to work in your car at full potential, it'll need another $2000-3000 worth of supporting mods (intercooler, exhaust, z32 air flow meter, aftermarket ECU, tune, maybe injectors).... and then you'll be a target for police, and/or realise you should have just spend $5000 for a nice garrett turbo like a 3071/3076 package instead of $4500 for a highflow package Buying a new turbo from nissan, if even possible, will be stupid expensive... don't even consider this Buying an equivilent size turbo to the new one, probably not worth the effort... you're throwing money at it for no gains.

Went and saw Max Max on Friday night at Hoyts Forest Hill 2 Tickets, $20 via Optus Movie Rewards 2 Drinks, 1 Medium Popcorn, 2 Choc Tops $38 Cinema had sound coming only from the right hand side of the cinema for the first 10 minutes, and it was way too quiet once they got the whole thing working. Additionally, the drinks came in these Black Plastic Max Max "Barrels", which didn't even fit into the cup holders in the cinemas because the base was too wide. Marketing fail... It's a little too easy to hit the 180 max speedo on the skyline at the track... though, PowerFC reports speed at about 170 when that occurs, and GPS backs up its claims. Makes me sad in the pants when I get in a Micra or something and it's got a bloody 240km speedo Just went and had a look, few people have mentioned 33GTST Manual would be at 270km/h @ 7000rpm 5th.... Wonder how long it'd take to get to that speed.

<3 the varex on the evo... granted it's not running big power, but it's a godsend to be able to run quiet if I need to, eg approaching a booze bus or driving through the CBD or arriving at a business meeting
