  1. I'll be leaving at 4:45am (for a S.E. Meet point, I will swing by Burwood Highway / Springvale Road Dan Murphy's Carpark at that time if others are coming too...), then meeting a few others at Wallan BP Outbound (~5km past the "Wallan" exit on the Hume) at 6am. Express your interest now, or I'll just drive straight there
  2. A few years back when I had to care about internet quota, I ran a program on my PC which tweaked some firewall rules to block the Non-Bigpond Steam Content Servers... Sometimes it stopped games / updates from loading if the server was too busy (since it couldn't switch to an alternate), but when it would download it'd be Unmetered Data. Not sure if that's still a thing... but yes, Bigpond, Internode, etc do run some steam content servers to reduce traffic
  3. So is mine, I'm on Telstra Bigpond Cable, 100mbit... Which is 4 times faster than anyone will ever need. The problem is my workplace, where the absolute best we can get is 3mbps ADSL, shared between 20 people... This is in Cheltenham, just 20km from the Melbourne CBD... VoIP, flakey at best without killing all other traffic using QoS. Video conferencing, no way. Cloud based Services, painful.
  4. http://www.kmart.com.au/product/ceramic-yellow-vase/574331 Sorted.
  5. This sort of thing confuses me... Selling wheels for $3000, doesn't even bother to give them a quick wipe down before taking pictures.
  6. Yes.
  7. lol they're letting you apply the new policy proactively?
  8. Or maybe it was because you were going 20 over 3 weeks into my P's I got done at 104 in a 70... got dropped down to 90... keeping licence ftw
  9. I just spent the past month viewing shows on a Kogan TV, think it was about 55" and seemed to go alright... Looked like it ran some sort of android OS... though it was connected to a WDTV Live box, so I did all my playing vids through that instead of dealing with the TV itself... Looked fine, the screen surface itself was quite reflective / glossy though, so it struggled a bit with clarity if all the lights were on in the room (even if the source wasn't directly reflected, it still was annoying)
  10. I watch it and love it... it makes me laugh... but by no means am I expecting a balanced and impartial car review made of nothing but substance... Hell, Fifth Gear is a bit better if you're after that... but I'm not, I want to see big powerful expensive cars sliding sideways while he talks about how the traction control appears to be malfunctioning.
  11. Will be there after I have a quick nap
  12. Yep, I'll be leaving early morning from Vermont, will be road tripping up with a few others no doubt
  13. Be a man, fly up and drive it back.
  14. Wouldn't it be more realistic to do that on the street? But yes, how much for say 3 power runs on your dyno?
  15. Quite literally a heart transplant
  16. 1984 (??) vs 2010 is a little bit more suicidal than unkillable
  17. 85,000km/year... dayam... I'm always more impressed when small cars last a long time, instead of the usual 400,000+ falcon So it holds a Latte for a while... and then throws it at you with disgust whenever you hit a bump.
  18. Then you're invited, because we need some cannon fodder...
  19. Sounds to me like you don't have enough drive... Not willing to push your boundaries enough
  20. So you're pretty much spraying a lubricant on a dried up surface... it'll make it look better very briefly, then look like arse again. Go to Autobarn and try out a body plastic restorer spray, might last a bit longer... Long enough for a photoshoot either way.
  21. I can't find them either *sigh*
  22. http://www.circuitclub.com.au/page/faq -> What is the cancellation Policy on my ticket? Looks like they do allow cancellation / postponement in exchange for a Circuit Club Credit Code... I don't see why they would say No to this, then you could just do a different circuit club event later in the year...
  23. I'm a lover, not a fighter
  24. Do you have access to replacement ones or are they all faded and shitty due to age? If you're going to be taking them off for paint, you may as well just put replacement ones on... You will need to remove them to prep them properly or you'll have cracked and cruddy paint within a few months...
  25. Sounds like my love life
