  1. Youtube app should be able to be sync'd / controlled with the youtube app on your phone if it can be signed into. Makes life very easy
  2. I remember going on a cruise with you through the hills with about 20 cars... including huge brap-brap-brap 100dB rotories... and YOU were the one pulled up and defected for fog lights, lol
  3. Is there power available in the enclosed garages at the bottom of the hill ( driven past when returning to the pit area)?
  4. We run certain events throughout the year where this special price will be valid, keep your eyes trained out our events area for when the next one pops up
  5. $88.40 x 12 = $1060/year In the past 12 months I haven't paid for a single one of the 3 month long contact lenses I use (perhaps $500?), and about half of my new pair of glasses ($300 off) was covered. And I haven't even touched the physio extras that are thrown into my package. So for me, a few hundred bucks out of my pocket to cover me if I had needed hospital, ambulance, etc is nothing... Alex, that 18 month ahead surgery... would it be classified as a pre-existing condition? If so, you're gonna have a bad time.
  6. Yes, the signup option will appear on the www.circuitclub.com.au website. If it asks when entering, set your Club to Skylines Australia Victoria
  7. +1, if you want to come and do a motorkhana or any other track day in the next 12 months, then you've blown money on a Come and Try licence for nothing. Just get the full one and enter ALL of the events.
  8. Is he not paying it back because financially he is not in the position to do so? Or does he have money now and is just avoiding paying it back. Your mate needs to figure this out, talk to the guy, say "We agreed that you would pay back minimum $500/fortnight until it was fully repaid, you are not meeting your end of the agreement, why?" and if its a bullshit excuse call him out on it "Saw you shouting beers for everyone after work last night, where's my money man?" This is why all agreements need to have a non-payment clause, whether it's upped interest rates after a certain timeframe or something, the person needs an incentive to pay it back... $50 isn't worth losing a friend over, $20,000 is more than enough for some people.
  9. Hmmmm... no car insurance on the racetrack for the cars... no problem though with private health insurance? I'm with Medibank Private, I don't need to let them know I'm taking part in high risk activities do I?
  10. Me too, but without a helping hand its a lot harder for them to get back on their feet and rejoin the rest of us kings of industry.
  11. I can see this conversation escalating quickly
  12. I'm not talking about the common cold, I'm talking about the flu, or a chest infection, or similar. $7 for a visit $12 for some antibiotics Back at work a few days later, suckin dicks fo cash
  13. I've very on the fence about it all... I strongly feel that people needing to pay for it would actually make things go backwards over time, without free (and preventitive / early) healthcare the average health level will drop, leading to a sicker country, less productivity which hurts the economy, more people becoming seriously sick which requires hospital care, more people who can't work and request health related government handouts... and it'll snowball like the USA... But at the same time, I'm also coming from a middle class family who has never been close to being in the position of needing to stretch my wage just to by able to put food on the table... So to me $7 a few times a year is nothing (hell I'm paying $90/month for Private) but still just go into the local bulk bill clinic when I get sick... I do understand that for some people it is a lot ($7 x 4 kids + single parent on welfare x increased sickness frequency in lower income families), the numbers can add up enough that they'll avoid the "unnecessary expense" so they can all eat instead... Honestly I would have thought that a $7 payment ($2 to the gp) would be absorbed pretty quickly by the additional overheads (time, bank runs, registers, eftpos, etc) that comes with dealing with money in the practice... It's a very complex matter, and a lot of people aren't happy about it... Just seems very weird that there wasn't even consolation with medical boards to see if it would actually work, before the cost cutting measures were announced.
  14. Racepace will treat you right GTR specialists
  15. Working but struggling to get by because of rent, child support, whatever... Gets sick, takes a day off work, gets required medication and treatment, back at work 2 days later once its cleared up. vs Gets sick, takes a day off work, does not go to doctor because "It's just a cold / flu" and doesn't want to spend limited funds on paying for a doctors visit, decides to wait it out, 1.5 to 2 weeks off work because of no helping hand from medication. Lost income, lost income tax revenue to the government. Also, aren't an arseload of people already paying like $1200+ / year to the government in the form of the Medicare Levy? Are these the same people who are complaining about a few dollars for a visit? or are the people complaining the ones which are spending $1200/year for their Private Health Insurance?
  16. And now... for a quick dose of inappropriate monday.
  17. If the government tries to pass all these bills at once... the result will be Double Plus Ungood <--- if noone gets the reference I'm going to be very Double Plus Unimpressed
  18. I walked into the office to sign in, and the girl saw my SAU Shirt and said "Damn, another one of you!!"... and the guy said to her in a loud whisper "Shhhhhh, they're funding the day!" did lol
  19. Evo Brake rotors are warped and shuddery when hot, Pads almost done... And ABS kicking in constantly after I got some heat into the race spec nankang tyres Either way, got a few sessions in because I decided to call it to preserve my daily, was good to see how it performed out there. Would be a monster on good tyres and some fresh rotors / pads Was a lot of fun wrestling with it during a 4 wheel slide I didn't even get out of my car during scruitineering, rolled in... he opened the boot and closed it in 2 seconds, same with the bonnet, stuck a sticker on and off I went. Didn't even look at my fire extinguisher or helmet Really good day and heaps of new people to talk to! Very positive to start to the SAUVic Motorsport Season
  20. Alternatively... as happens... they'll be crashed within a month and they'll send you pictures, thinking you want to know they've destroyed all your hard work, for some stupid reason
  21. It's Friday... I've done jack sheet too... Been watching Office 365 and Sharepoint Tutorial Videos all day on youtube. Self-Training, lol
  22. I think I'll stick to pure E85 for the skyline... Chris said he can do an emergancy 98 tune on the PowerFC by adjusting the maps linked to a different AFM setting... so I could just switch from the Z32 preset with my powerful E85 tune, to some other one in there which has been modifed to be a safe as anything 98 tune. Just takes more time on the dyno to tune around the unswitchable variables, but would mean I could fill up with 98 on my way home from the track and switch it on the hand controller to have it run well enough that I can drive it home... obviously not red lining full boost, but enough to get me back to Melbourne from Winton...
  23. ^ Too green, not interested.
  24. Come back when you doctor!
