Urgh, this sucks badly... Have the Coxsackie virus (Hand Foot and Mouth Disease)... normally kids under 10 get it, and like chickenpox, when adults get it it is worse. Started with a fever, cold chills, sore throat and pounding headache on Saturday.. Sunday started popping out with spots on my palms, soles and face... Now the spots are painful enough that I can barely walk... all while being contagious. On the plus side... 100% Completed Far Cry 4 On the neg side... Tony, I feel you should aim higher than that...

If you want an accurate representation of how well a different line through a corner effects your time, then having an accurate GPS is pretty important. I use a 10Hz Bluetooth module as well, stuck to the top of my windscreen, because I have my phone wrapped up in my centre console and GPS Reception when you're inside a big metal cage isn't ideal. Lap times can be within a 0.1 seconds... however things like top speeds and corner speeds go absolutely retarded if you've got a poor signal and it thinks your bouncing all over the track.

Fuel lines in the engine bay are easy to change, fuel line in the tank (from pump to lid) is easy to change... Its the ones that go from the top of the tank to the hardlines on the body that are annoying. Partially accessible from the drivers rear wheel well however.

Currently have a Walbro 400L E85 Compatible pump, and 550cc injectors and new fuel line in the engine bay... I've heard that you should get the proper E85 line for inside the tank though, since the inside of most lines can handle it, but the rubber on the outside generally doesn't last when its submerged. Chris made it make a happy 278rwkw on 98 (then pulled back for track safety), and then the intake manifold gasket pushing out the side made it want to detonate on the straights at Rexmas. So going to fix that up and chuck some E85 at it to see how it likes it, either the turbo will taper off or injectors will max out. Hoping for the magical 300 so I don't start breaking other things while I'm out there.

I have 4 cans. I'd budget 1 x 20L Jerrycan of fuel each way to Winton or PI. Which leaves me with only 80L of usable fuel for on the track. May need to invest in a few more Jerrys... Still a bit concerned about fuel sitting for so long once I switch to 85... when I was filling with P100, I'd just use the remaining fuel to fill the daily over the next 2 weeks.

Ain't so bad... its an amazing track compared to something like Calder or Winton But then you also need to factor in another $75 in petrol to get you there and back, $120 (???) garage hire... PI adds up, but its worth it.

I'm about a second or two slower than you on most tracks, I don't know how to drive yet though... Will be repairing intake manifold gasket and switching to E85 to squash these detonation problems before the next day. Got a wedding on the 31st of Jan, so no Philip Island WRX Round 1 for me... Was hoping for a late summer PI
