  1. Needs more JDM Rims... Will be dropping them off tonight at about 8:00 or so
  2. rr8ted I believe... chasers (i think it was) posted up a picture of it (so roller, not hub)
  3. Nope... Only bodywork that I've had done is getting my passenger door replaced after a woman backed her car out of her driveway into it while it was parked. Insurance job via JCI and went to the lowest bidder (a place on Princes Highway Springvale). Paint was well matched (though, its a flat white, so not that hard really) though everything else was horrible... Snapped a few of the door card panel clips and didn't replace them when swapping it onto the new door, power window is a bit flakey and only works 90% of the time, power mirror hasn't worked since, window was so out of alignment that letting the door swing shut would make it stop with 10cm to go... JCI said to call the workshop and book it back in for them to fix it. Workshop said to call JCI and book it back in for them to fix it (ETA a week), I said "Hell no you're not getting it back for another week" and fixed a bunch of it myself. Mirror is still dead in the water...
  4. All I'm hearing from people regarding times is "It was an untimed day"... as if they weren't running RaceChrono on their gold plated iPhone 8s 512gb Though... I wouldn't be bragging about speed either if I was making 230kw on E85 out of an RB26...
  5. I'd love to go down and see some of the sweet cars... but I'm also looking forward to seeing some broken glamour cars... Oh son of rajab, so many "This is a track car" posts are going to be on Instagram tomorrow.
  6. <3 Danger 5!
  7. If the person doing the full roadworthy knows how to do their job properly... then yes
  8. the 4" pipe counts towards an intake modification, so does the pod, so does the intercooler, so does the relocated AFM
  9. Pretty sure it's 2/3 of original suspension travel, and minimum of 100mm... Not 2/3 original height. Cool, so swap exhaust, raise car up, stock airbox with a black reducer to the AFM (or are you running MAP?) if your piping is in the right area
  10. There was less than 1mm of clearance to the brembos on the evo with them on it... And they'd taken the red paint off in a few spots. Swapped from 18x9.5's to 17x9's and suddenly have 2cm of clearance
  11. 18's not clearing stock callipers?
  12. The one we got did a good job at charging phones... but the Macbook Air charger (white brick) made a buzzing sound it doesn't normally do and charged about 50% slower than normal... We were suprised that the 6 berth campervan we got didn't have any 240v outlets, so we grabbed one in NZ from a Dick Smith Electronics. Connected it up to the Deep Cycle "Home battery" under the seat in the camper. Lovely. Edit: Note to self, don't try to bring one back into australia with your carry on luggage... It looks very very suspicious when it goes through the bag scanner Got pulled aside and asked for inspection
  13. I has an inverter... We bought one in NZ for our campervan and it powered our chargers and laptop like a boss... What sort of wattage are you after?
  14. Had a second christmas day worth of food for lunch today... Then went to go see the hobbit... dozed in and out of a food coma and missed the first 1/3 of the movie.
  15. I disagree with this, lots of drifters are purely function over form... if it works, it works... Edit: Then they decide to put a big wang on the back of their car... and need to adjust the downforce so its not adding grip
  16. Also... My most recent tune was 278rwkw at Racepace... If I go to any other dyno right now, It'll be ~260... Why? Because its been pulled back for safety / fuel variations / temperature variations / etc. Just because the printout says 350, doesn't mean you're driving out with 350...
  17. Spied a black 32 gtst on Center Dandenong Road with SAU Stickers this morning near Moorabin Airport as I was getting coffee on my way to work, Pat? Surely its the only one left...
  18. And some tint for the aussie summer sun
  19. Yeah, I've been on many a different Dyno... Chequered Tuning Chequered Tuning Chasers Chequered Tuning RTR RTR Racepace Not wanting to get involved in this jerk fest... but yes... one did read quite a bit higher than the rest. But at the same time, different tuners work with very different styles of tuning... But... car was pinging on trents dyno and I NEEDED it for a DECA on the weekend so we pulled it way back for a "safe tune" of 230rwkw... a few weeks later (no mod changes) it pulled 212rwkw on RTR (Simple retune and it was back up to a safe 242 (which I'm estimating 260 on trents) The only real reason I don't go back to Trents is because its too hard to get a hold of them and get a tune within a week of when you need it. Too hard to plan mod installations etc if you're not even sure if you'll be able to book in some dyno time before a track day.
  20. Did lol.... at: Hamish getting mad bro Realising a 2.2L is bigger than a 2.0L and there's near 3 times to power output from the little baby evo compared to the 5S-FE The commodore because it looks like a decent burnout car and not a street skidder's first time at an event... Hipster Lumberjacks complaining about the lack of nuttiness in their $9 mocha soy latte
  21. Pulled off my first engine head today... pity it was just a 4 cyl 2.2L... But still fun to learn new things
  22. Anyone? Yes... everyone did
  23. I'd loan you a set of 17x8's but unfortunately two of the tyres aren't quite legal tread
  24. Hub Dyno
