  2. Drove the skyline to the servo last night for fresh fuel... Made me remember just how fun it is to drive... Can't wait for Saturday He's gonna be a happy boy stretching his legs again. You guys coming down or not? Enter the micra you lazy english bastard.
  3. How did you identify it as a C10? The fact that it folded right behind the cab as soon as some weight was added to it?
  4. Thought about switching to 18's? How small do they look on the titanic?
  5. hahaha, actually lold
  6. Well.... To actually have full grip they'd need to be at about 30psi hot... which would mean near 20psi cold / normal driving... If you're running at 30psi cold... once they actually get up to temp then they'll be 42psi. Note that "Hot" does not mean "I've done a quick burnout on them before a launch" You're going to have an absolute ball on them if you dial them in properly on the track.
  7. Mohsen, question... What pressure are you running them at?
  8. What fat rimz are you thinking of Leigh? They're 5x114.3 yeah? Can put something jdm tite on there to piss off the purists from both camps?
  9. I said they had the car for that long, not I was sitting there waiting that long... Key takeaway point was, it was free and now the emo is no longer limping along with low pressures in the mornings. Just a moron...
  10. Wow, Cheap Tyres on Skinny Rims and more Power than Tony Abbott at the G20... You're either going to have a whole lot of fun, or die, or both.
  11. On a semi-related note... you know you go to a tyre shop too often when they've got your car for several hours tracking down a puncture to repair and checking the rest of the rim in their tank to make sure there's no other leaks... Then you get them to swap the lock nuts on the rims to the standard nuts you supplied but they misread the work sheet and only did 4 nuts from each wheel... so the manager does it himself in the hot sun by hand. Then he says "Oh don't even worry about it, no charge" /win
  12. Current entry list... R33 GTR Porsche R34 R34 GTR R34 GTR R33 GTR 626 Coupe Evo BMW R34 GTR R33 GTR 86 M3 CSL R34 GTR Evo R34 GTR Subaru Liberty Evo 6 TX3 4WD S15 Evo WRX s2000 FPV GT M3 I think I'm going to head down on the 4th to check it out... looks like there's going to be some decent meat there
  13. Thats the main thing I was laughing at, 20 minutes per hour with a bunch of cars which haven't ever been on a track before... They'll be driving hard and max out temps after 2 hotlaps. HIGH possibility that they'll identify weaknesses in the car (as everyone does on the first 3-4 track days) or break something or even minor stuff like popping off cooler pipes due to sustained boost and heat. Std brakes/pads/oil cooler/ps boiling/tyres running out Nek minit they've missed 3 sessions trying to repair a car in the pits and it's cost them $100 worth of the day. Tell you what though, with the number of GTR's that are down there... Racepace should be there offering advice and guidance to them... So many potential new customers who are getting a taste of the track bug
  14. did lol https://www.facebook.com/events/293399480871242/ Jesus... $350 for an untimed Sandown track day... Hell, my last PI day was only $210...
  15. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450800-titanium-r34-gtr-bonnet-stay/ $250 uwotmate?
  16. FANTA-stic
  17. What injectors / fuel pump / etc are in the car at the moment? You're not making insane power so don't worry about lines / surge tanks / rails at all. I would look at estimated power levels and install injectors and fuel pump to suit, before the E85 tune, or you'll be back to Racepace 5 times over the next 2 months and complain about it every step of the way.
  18. Depends how many Jerrycans you can fit in the back seat if you are driving to Winton (20L) and Home (20L) and What you'll use on the track (60L)... That said, its a 4 door, so heaps of room for jerries. doitfgt
  19. wut?
  20. Just make sure you don't headcheck and accidentally change direction with an unintended lean, lol
  21. The "Entries" figure for Rexmas includes guests, not just drivers, so they know numbers for food etc
  22. Put more on the car and pretend it's got shooting star decals all over it... Alternatively, cover the damage with frangapani stickers
  23. Very Mixed reviews... should be just fine for that... Micolour is the SAU VIC sponsor and one of the best in Melbourne however... Tony had his car sprayed at DT and it turned out pretty sex.
  24. As a rule of thumb, it is approximately 45 minutes before you begin sinking beers with us
  25. Yassssss!!!!
