  1. Should be getting decent speeds at that sort of distance, the copper cabling in Wantirna isn't toooo broken down compared to other areas.
  2. Can be crappy wiring in the house... ring topology on the internal wiring etc... Should always plug in ADSL2+ Modems to the First point in the house, and make sure that the other points are wired in a manner which works well with ADSL (aka. Not how a lot of Phone Wiring was done by people 20 years ago) Distance from exchange, estimated cable length and estimated speed when doing an address lookup on www.adsl2exchanges.com.au ?
  3. Ha, i told you someone would notice
  4. Snap.
  5. I bought a "Fantasy pack" of Ansell dingers once... in the box it also came with chocolate body sauce and mints... So when a guy in a strange unmarked car offers you mints, its because he's expecting you to have a strong case of dick breath by the end of the trip.
  6. I picked up two bottles of the 5W40 today when I was in there... can confirm that this is the only oil weight available for the special... Pity, was looking forward to a bit of a heavier duty oil which could handle a bit of trackday abuse.
  7. Sweet thread, I love 34's... That one looks really nice with those wheels, Borci88
  8. FYP https://vine.co/v/OeZr9WYAJv9
  9. Shouldn't you be doing Skids in a VB Commodore? Thoughts on Castrol Edge Titanium for RB's and Evo's? $35 is cheap enough that I would stock up a few bottles if its decent stuffs http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450448-repco-sale-castrol-edge-titanium-50-off/
  10. Sometimes I think a hangover is worth it, for that feeling of completeness after a solid After Grog Bog (AGB)
  11. That bloke on the right... definately wants the D...
  12. Suggest that they're wrong about something... you'll soon know
  13. Some of the first beers I ever drank as a kid were VB's... stolen from the esky while camping over easter... I had tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. I remember VB tasting horrible, but we drank them anyway... After that I avoided them like the plague, but a few years ago (~25yo seasoned beer drinker) I had no choice but to have a stubbie of the stuff... Did not mind it at all
  14. Has it got the gtr brake air deflectors on the car?
  15. IT'S A TRAPPPP!!!!
  16. Also make sure the brakes and brake pads are perfect, bring a spare set of pads just in case they decide to run low... because Sandown chews brakes badly... Slow cooldown laps of the track (and the carpark) and necessary as there's two x 200km/h stops per lap.
  17. Have it in the car and concentrate on the stopwatch while doing 200 down the main straight...
  18. Download RaceChrono for Android... Pair it with an external 10hz Bluetooth GPS like a Qstarz BT-Q818XT stuck to the top of the windsheild if you want anything resembling accuracy (as a phones inbuild gps isn't going to be able to update fast enough, especially down low in the car (pocket or glovebox or center console)) Add Sandown to the list of "My Tracks" hit "Start Session", then drive.
  19. Thanks for the input guys, I'll pass on that VWL says they need to shut their god damn mouths
  20. Yeah silver
  21. Was it one of you guys (XEN plates on a 34 4 Door) I was cruise down towards Geelong with on Sunday morning? I was in the Evo VII
  22. FYP. Did they provide you with an alignment report? If they only spent 30 minutes on it, I'd love to see the before/after figures
  23. I've got an SR2 and an SR3 as my Driver and Passenger seat... Suprising how confortable they are... Used to get compliments on how cool they felt from my passengers... I've had nothing but complaints when I've had passengers in the std evo seats... Either I've got a small butt, or I've got too many child-bearing-hip passengers...
  24. I'd be more impressed by Ken Block Gymkhanas if there wasn't 10 sets of tyre marks on the road in some sections, 3 in others, 5 in others.... Just makes it painfully obvious that it's not a single run, it's been tried and failed multiple times, then they just cut together the more interesting footage that they've gotten. This is a bit more impressive, as its actually a single take
  25. Why no A/C? It ain't a track car...
