last time at winton you took advice to just pull out a bit of timing from your engine, you went back out and barely made it back to the pits... motor went esploded, taking the bottom end with it.

If it was tuned fairly knife edge, add a few degrees extra to intake temperatures or an inconsistant batch of fuel... and boom goes the dynamite.

Was just asking because of what I heard at DECA when someone was asking how the awd cars can do handbrakies without damaging the drivetrain. http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=234540 "If you have ACD (7+) then it opens the centre diff when you pull the handbrake so you "should" be ok. I wouldn't do it on anything 6 or before though."

On a 100% Completely Totally Unrelated note, what happens when you pull the handbrake in an evo vii? Does it d/c the rear drivetrain?

Did you align the grain in the mince and wrap it in glad wrap before slicing? Apparently that's key, as we've heard the tip at least half a dozen times.

4cyl 2.0i Unleaded Manual = 1400kg braked 4cyl 2.0i Unleaded CVT = 1200kg braked 4cyl 1.6 Diesel CVT = 1400kg braked Kerb weight is about 1400kg petrol manual up to 1600kg diesel cvt (unladen)... so after loading it is recommending kinda in the ballpark of the 75% towing recommendation.

What's the process for garages at PI? Booking? Payments? etc... Do you need to ring up someone like Sandown?

It looks like it doesn't matter which side drive it is, as it appears to be a twin exhaust which is balanced on both sides... However there could be something (like an exhaust temperature sensor) which switches sides depending on LHD / RHD? I'd jump under your car and check out the piping near the cats on the stock exhaust.
