+1 to that.... They would be throwing out huge rotors all the time... even a small hairline crack it would be useless to them...

I've got a DBA4000 Slotted 294mm rotor (R33 Turbo front rotor size) that's been scored up a bit by a crumbling brake pad. Replacing them, so it's no use to me anymore... I think it'd look pretty tiny inside a 20" wheel though. Consider it a backup option if you need it...

I was just trying to work out if it was possible (clearly not thank rajab)... watching shows like Highway Patrol has shown me just how stupid people can be.

So you just say you don't have your licence on you right now, but you are xxxxx of xxxxx street... They'll look it up on the computer and confirm that's who owns the car (you are driving it afterall) and unless you were doing something arrest-worthy, the fines will be issued to the owner. Do the police in-car computers have pictures (drivers licence mug shots, etc) pop up?

Hmmm, probably should have looked into that tip earlier, back when noone was hurt and you had a target that can be used to dish out some big fines onto... Plates look real, reflectivity etc... The guy didn't mentioned if he still has plates on his own car, or if they've been stolen off his car. std plates, so I'd just report as stolen 2 weeks ago, get new ones and not worry about it anymore...

Also accessibility? Where abouts is the tank opening in an S14? in an R33 its just a nightmare trying to work with the fuel tank, especially if you're not able to sit and work comfortably while IN the boot...

We'll see how it goes I guess. due to the fact I won't be able to just pop down to repco/sca to pick up pads anymore, I'll always have a spare set on hand... so will have time to experiment and see what fits and what doesn't... Won't be tracking it for a bit, getting these brakes killed my car budget for a while... But when I do I'll be running great pads on the track, and swapping them out for street pads when I get home and take off my track tyres.

They'll come with a set of pads, so I'll be taking some measurements and pics of them before they go in so I can be sure of what to get in the future The QFM A1RM's performed really well all through the day, didn't let me down once... until they disintegrated. HEL braided lines just arrived for the front, rears and clutch (dunno if they'll mate up to the new front calipers though), just gotta grab some decent fluid now and wait until I'll be able to install them

Richo runs them, so I'll get some advice from him... I guess the best thing would be to find out which car (if any) has compatible pads so I can quote that car when i'm searching for them.
