  1. Successful day at Sandown with a heap of SAU showing up, then today had Yum Cha at Knox and running around trying to find parts of fix the car so I can drive again What did you guys get up to this weekend?
  2. If you've been exposed to Birds' eating habits before, you'll know that this kind of statement is normal for him and should just be ignored. tl;dr - He's a picky bitch
  3. ey blokes, Where's the best spot in my cooling system for me to throw in the coolant temperature sensor for a gauge? In the top hose (That's water coming OUT of the engine right?) using one of those adaptor blocks you can pick up from SCA? Not sure if my Koyo Rad has a bung for a sensor... and if it does it'll be at the bottom so that'll be reading it at it's coldest point
  4. R33's have a double latched setup from factory... you could pull the bonnet release cable at 200kph and it wouldn't fly open... Of course you're more than welcome to make your own additional restraint with a carrabeana and a loop of wire to secure it further. Edit: I would be running the additional if I had an aftermarket bonnet, carbon fibre, bracing removed, or something like that which could allow the bonnet to flex more than normal
  5. 100% this... but I'm willing to bet that the internals of this R33 engine are completely worked to the max... If it's only had minor work though, ditch the R33 engine, swap fruit onto a new neo engine and install that, you don't want to deal with all the hassles.
  6. Woooot! Time to beat Matt Also throw me into Modified 2WD
  7. Get your suspension sorted Alan? If not I'm available to help out tomorrow night if required
  8. Governments new Health Policy... Also, probably so you get hit with 5 x ATM Fee's
  9. It's only 9/10 posts on facebook over the past 36 hours... and Birds, I disagree with that... He has had a big impact on the lives of many people (a lot more of an impact than say... Brad Pitt), people sometimes need an outlet to express that when things like this happen. Also, Suicide instead of a physical illness opens a whole new kettle of fish
  10. Got any details on what's going to be happening during the DECA events? Are the backtracks open or is it skidpan only?
  11. Oh, wow, I didn't know
  12. What about Robin Williams?
  13. I think about $50 per garage that gets opened up for us...
  14. Just sent you a PM
  15. Hi guys, I've just called Brendan from Sandown and booked Garage 17 as our Home Base SAU Garage (and for my car to sit out the front of)... He is temp holding Garages 16-20 for us until Thursday, you'll need to call him up and book them yourself with him. PM me if you don't have his mobile number.
  16. 7am... There won't be much to see until about 9am though... Just cars getting ready and going through scrutineering, driver breifing etc
  17. Or get rid of them completely... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Total-Hicas-Eliminator-Kit-R32-R33-R34-S13-S14-S15-Z32-A33-Skyline-200sx-/131218912033?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e8d41b321&_uhb=1
  18. Eeek, shall keep at eye on it... Sandown on Saturday
  19. Yeah I'll see what's available with a wide berth around it
  20. k, I'll call up tomorrow morning and aim for garage 10 as our home base... then post the number which you guys should surround
  21. Srs, no curb hits or memorable potholes or speedbump launches... Don't think I even touched a ripple at Phillip Island... That's why I'm confused Either way, it was able to be adjusted out during the alignment, so here's hoping it doesn't bend any more...
  22. Does anyone know the numbering of the garages well? What is a rough number which is 2/3 of the way along when heading away from the tower? We've got enough people entering that we could book out 5-6 easily... Once we've got a rough garage number I'll call up Brendan and book one for SAUVIC / BBQ / Home Base, then post it in here for others to book the surrounding garages.
  23. Right Side Left Side, when the hell did that happen?! Before / After Alignment Results and Post It Note is my "Aim for this" figures Soooo glad I got an alignment today (early in the week) instead of daily driving on +8mm and +5.8mm toe with AD08R's Also lol @ Nissan Skyline 240K GT 1979-2011 Edit: And yes... I've just done some suspension changes, thus why its out so much...
