  1. It was a pre-meeting before a conference call tonight with our Europe office, I was getting everyone here on the same page so we can go in as a team and yell at them for being dumbsheits, in a consistent manner.
  2. Just had an hour long meeting to discuss what we're going to talk about during a 30 minute meeting later this evening... *sigh*
  3. I'm definitely not saying that it was sustainable. I'm saying it is logical to spend when you can't afford it (to keep the economy going) and its logical to rein in the spending when times are better (like now). But a 10 year plan of excessive cuts just to get a "number" back into check... This is going to hurt our growth in the long term...
  4. I got it... can't remember if I did anything special with it... Probably car parts and coke and hookers as normal. Everyone bitches about Labor's spending, but I do believe that it was the spending which kept our economy alive and kicking through the dark years... I'm not saying all of the spending was logical, but neither are a lot of these extreme cuts... It's easy to have a plan to do something by 2024, there's no promises to keep if you're not going to be in power for that long.
  5. Google Nexus 5 ftw... Yeah 4G does use more power, but even with it on I get home at the end of the day and still have 60+% of battery... Forcing/Locking people into the Apple Walled Garden is the reason I've never owned an i-Devlce... Technology changes too fast to lock myself into anything, so thats why I stick to subscription based purchases like Spotify for music so I can legally listen to music for a low monthly fee, with no need to make any permanent purchases from places like iTunes which I'd lose access to as soon as I move to a different platform...
  6. Have also heard that things are stupidly expensive up in mining towns... a $100 trolley of groceries can cost $150-200 in some towns up in queensland, purely because people have money from the mines... Pity about the "local" residents who can no longer afford to live in their own town anymore...
  7. Melbourne R34 Society's 1st meet & greet Public · Hosted by Melbourne R34 Society Melbourne R34 Society is finally having their first meet & greet at the Garage Cafe in Carlton on May 10th at 4:30pm. And what a better way for everybody to meet one another than by having a meal and sharing some laughs while sitting next to your pride and joy. As Garage Cafe is open to the public they have suggested we get there at 4:30pm to ensure we fill up the venue with our almighty R34's. Hope to see you all there and extend the R34 family.

  9. How heavy is your lawn mower equipment + trailer combo? Braked or unbraked trailer? I'm thinking you just pick up a cheap falcon on gas with a towbar already fitted and you'll still have a grand left over...
  10. Took us until the final day of our travels to spot the tiny tiny little sticker on the passenger side of the windscreen which said "As this is classified as a Heavy Vehicle, the maximum legal speed on New Zealand Highways is 90kmph"... Ooops

  20. ^ This guy.... doesn't even sip criss (or whatever drink the marketing department is paying him to have in his hand while he hits rihanna) Edit: bahahaha, this just popped up on facebook as someones status... 21. How bad is the damage? Just the bumper or potential chassis?
  22. It all depends on how the IT systems are set up... Small business networks are often set up just like a home network is. Computer -> Router -> Internet If they have a fancy router, they could install some software on it which tracks requests and links them to users. Larger business networks are often designed with forensic options in place from day one, or as a happy side effect of proxy server caching. Computer -> Proxy Server -> Router -> Internet All traffic passes through the monitoring server, which can be logged against a user if required... Websites visited can be pulled from log files (or automatically made into nice reports listing the sites visited and/or time spend randomly browsing reddit) Obviously that is just a high level view of some generic setup, there are a lot more in depth monitoring solutions out there. Just keep in mind that "Incognito Mode" does nothing, all that does is stops records of the visited websites on YOUR pc... Once the request for the site leaves your computer there is nothing to stop it from being intercepted and recorded against you.
  23. I'd rather something filling...
