  1. Your roommate has been fishing in gardeners creek again...
  2. Presumably because of the issues mentioned in this topic
  3. http://www.truelocal.com.au/find/mechanic/vic/north-east/shepparton/
  4. Where do you live? You say the car sounds like it wants to start, but there's no spark... Generally if it sounds like it "wants to", then there is spark in at least some cylinders but its not catching enough to become self sufficient. From your description it could be anything, low voltage, buggered ecu, buggered coil pack loom, buggered CAS... +1 to martin's suggestion of a mobile mechanic... otherwise you could be throwing a heap of money at replacing parts which are fine... (Alternatively if you have a mate with the same car, make it a doner car for a day till you see what fixes it)
  5. Two and a half weeks later.... Yeah, its gone... Sorry to hear mate...
  6. Lol they look similar to the BBS RG-R's you sold me
  7. Can you tell I'm not a fan? The few I've been to have been in bogan suburbs, and turn into skid sessions which makes me have to leave asap before cops show up... Coverage from some of the more recent events look pretty damn positive however.
  8. It's a bunch of commodore bogans and 18-21yo's with imports and street drift weapons having a circle jerk and then one of them does a burnout even though they know it'll end the meet and ruin it for everyone. Not worth attending, though, they do get some damn big attendances. I've seen several hundred cars easy...
  9. Yeah I've got one with your name on it mate.
  10. She cooks a mean steak
  11. I think you'll like her...
  12. Get him to enter, the front page list a definitely a few cars behind, but if he enters now he'll be on the list for sure. There's still two weeks to go, people always have some car hiccups and need to cancel, so even if he does go into reserves he'll get in (or full refund, so no risk)
  13. haha, thats exactly the video I was thinking of when I wrote it
  14. SAU VIC Membership renewal is currently $50/year so you've making back the savings in rego costs immediately, not to mention all the other membership benefits like CAMS Affiliation, Club Sponsor Discounts, etc I'd imagine insurance would be cheaper... First of all, Shannons has a 10% discount if you've got a CAMS membership, and lots of insurance companies also do discounts if your car is not driven all the time, which works in perfectly with Club Registered vehicles
  15. Enter and Come up to DECA on the 22nd! 32R's do really well up there
  16. I just sit back and watch Mohsens facebook posts about car dramas... it's butt-clenchingly exciting.

Come along to some of our events and we'll give you a job!
  18. I had an early model SSD die on me with a bunch of corrupted write errors, kept hosing my windows install... Friend of mine who built his PC at the same time had the exact same problem so we RMA'd them both... Serial numbers were 3 apart. SSD Failures vs HDD Failures though, SSD's are awesome for reliability because of no moving parts... The Limited Writes isn't really an issue for home use unless you're using the first SSD's ever released.
  19. Did you bring us all chilli crab in takeaway containers?
  20. I'd recommend putting in a call to Cams after you submit the application to ask them to fasttrack it because you've got an event coming up... if you don't have it by say... Wednesday... give them a call back and ask for a quick cover letter to be emailed to you saying that you do have a licence, with the number, etc...
  21. Nightfill...
  22. Ya, that'll do it... Ah well, was built at a workshop... Mates or not, that should be paid for by the workshop if it was one of their employees who did it... and thank rajab for business insurance. I hope...
