Pretty much I've got ZERO experience with automotive paints, so if any of you guys want to lend a hand or offer advice... please do. Also, will be painted in my garage... I'm going budget here, plastic sheeting to make a makeshift spray booth
Home from work, was sick this morning, but now I'm fine
So spent a few hours working on the front bar I'm playing with to learn how to do body work... I'm scared that it's coming up too well now and I might actually use it as my real front bar
Leeeeeroooooyyyyy, can I please borrow your spray gun? I wanna give this a shot.
Also where's a good place in S.E or Bayside where I can get some QM1 mixed up? Also going to need some high fill primer... where to go?
The woman that hit me in the hotel carpark outside my old apartment, singaporean licence, hit me while parking her hire car after the drive from the airport to the hotel... so less than an hour in the country.
Had to track her down after finding the car in a completely different area of the carpark based on paint transfer (15cm area) and she said she had no idea that she even hit my car.
"I don't... I don't know... I don't think... I don't....."
"YES BITCH YOU HIT ME LOOK AT THE AQUA PAINT ON MY CAR AND THE WHITE ON YOURS!"

100% bolt straight in, got a highflowed one in mine... It's got a larger rear housing, so might affect your boost curve a little bit,,, But not so much that the stock ecu wouldn't be able to accommodate if you keep the same boost levels.
You're driving through the hills, Speed Limit != Safe Speed, if you're on the limit of grip and something goes wrong it doesn't matter if you're doing 20 under the speed limit, you can't suddenly get more grip to recover...
So he was going too fast for his car / skill level if he rolled it over guard rail.
Any idea what is on the other side of the car? Did he managed to land the car right there and narrowly avoid a 50m drop? If so, awesome
That's IF it is worth fixing under insurance... how bad is the clear coat... could just cut and polish it out if its not all the way through.
Damn that corrosive placenta...
Yeah mine has hunted a bit as long as I've had the car... ever since before the PFC went in (had a Mines ECU beforehand)... It just bounces harder with the PFC I think because it's more aggressive at trying to recover from a low rpm...
With the A/C on, sitting in traffic, it'll sometimes start bouncing 600-1200 rpm with a 2 second cycle... Can see the vacuum levels are fine, but obviously that looks like its bouncing too with the change in rpm...
Well it does make sense, BBC is heavily controlled by the UK Government, so there is def some political motives to promote UK brands and keep local production alive...

Or just do it anyway and plead ignorance IF you get pulled over in nsw...
Though, if its got no plates on it, you probably will get pulled over if going on a 1000km trip...
You say that you can't get an unrego permit because the plates were confiscated for hooning... I understand why they'd say no to this, but surely that should just apply to the previous owner of the car? Call up RTA and explain that you're purchasing a car and it is currently unregistered and you want to be able to drive it back to VIC, they may grant you the permit since you're not linked in any way to the person who was hooning...
