Mix resin with catalyst: 100ml resin (cold day) use 2.5ml to 3ml catalyst. 100ml resin (hot day) use 1.2ml to 2ml catalyst. 1ml = 45 drops.

Going to spend tomorrow fibreglassing and bogging and sanding my 2nd front bar, as practice for my actual front bar... Should be a lot of fun outside in 40c heat :|

Why not just hire a trailer from a servo in VIC, near the border if you really want to save on some fuel... Then road trip to Newcastle to pick up the car with some mates... drop the trailer off on your way back and drive it home once you get to VIC... Or hire the trailer from Melb, and trailer it back the entire way... Would be cheaper than paying someone else to do 2/3 of the km's for you...

It seems that 3/4 of cars that I see on the road with tail lights out are VE's... Every single day I go... "ANOTHER ONE!" It's as bad as seeing a car blow smoke when moving away from the lights, and then going... Yep, it's a Magna...

Problem is that they're not worth that much, and dealerships aren't able to mark it up by even $1-2k and sell it... it's just not worth their time...

Can anyone recommend where I should be looking to get a fibreglass repair kit to fix up two front bars? Both require multi cracks etc patched over a 10+ cm area... So one of the little kits from Super cheap ain't gonna cut it...

Thats fkn attempted murder If it's the rubber part of the line you're talking about, just replace them with some ADR approved braided stuff... Boom, upgraded? If it's the hardline's that have been cut, that's a bit more tricky.

I find that gutting a bush pig with your bare hands is a great source of food, and you can turn the pighide into a convenient backpack / water storage. Looks very fashionable on the back of a bike as well.

It'd sound nicer if you sold me your passenger side rail instead of agreeing on a price then deciding you want to keep it. You could be grinning with a handful of cash money... and for once, not for the usual reasons....
