  1. I'm loving the nexus 5, it's not too big like lots of people have been saying... Considering I've come from a 4.65" Galaxy Nexus to the 5" Nexus 5 its not a huge jump in size... Battery life is awesome, Push Email + Facebook notification + a few 10-15min phone calls + Whatsapp and SMS all day long, and I was coming home from an 8 hour day (plus an hour of driving each way) with 75%+ battery life It's light, but still feels really solid and well made. If you're going to get one, I'd recommend the black. I got the white and now I can't use it in the garage like I'm used to My GNex I'd pick up with grease COVERED hands and zero fks given, just give it a wipe on my shirt when I was done... It's a bit trickier to clean black off the white back cover. I'm honestly not sure how Apple manage to make so many people splooge over the most minor incremental upgrades... People rushing out to buy a $1000+ outright phone, sure its got a slightly faster processor... but all the apps are designed to function on the lowest common denominator (which is the lowest phone running the current OS, iP4S) so you don't really feel the power boost anyway... I'd love to buy a beer for the guys in their marketing department, they sure as hell know what they're doing Edit: Speaking of keyboards... I've just installed a new one called Fleksy, really intuitive and easy to use (after the day or so of un/learning curve). Just wish it had some swype like functions as well. but other than that, its really accurate and smooth as butter.
  2. Bought a Nexus 5... Booted it up for the first time, "Would you like to install the apps which are currently installed on your Galaxy Nexus?" Yes plz. 5 minutes later everything is perfect. Agreed, Simple is best.

    Tony?
  4. Are the 32 brakes as over engineered from the factory as a lot of nissans? aka, can handle double the power and still stop it find on the track with just some upgraded pads?

  6. Nice work digging up a 2 year old thread...

^ ermagerd this... I had a gmc yukon behind me in peak hour this morning, so blinding in both my left and right mirrors... No reason for his lights to be on either at 9am with the sun out... Your car is white mate, we can see you.

I managed 3.5 years without a defect because I don't drive like a retard on the streets... Though last weekend, knox of all places (funny that)... HWP came to say hello when I was just rolling along burwood highway to go get some dinner. Wasn't pettett, but two other blokes, they weren't too bad actually... Just too low, they could have kept looking but didn't for some reason. a good attitude goes a long way
  10. ^ Thus why I told you to go to Aaron at Import Monster
  11. 8:28am: Arrive at Vicroads Burwood 8:30am: Doors open 8:31am: Receive Ticket 8:31am: Ticket Called 8:33am: In inspection bay 8:35am: Roll stick under the car, hits it, but good enough anyway 8:36am: Stamp Stamp "I'll take care of this and mail it off, have a great day mate" 8:40am: All smiles and on my way to work
  12. Return flow ones with the return pipe underneath the core need to sit a bit higher, so there's not a heap of room up higher where the reo is...
  13. I love mine, they've really put a lot of hard work into tweaking them so the rates are perfect for each type of car and the type of performance you want. Mine are smoother than the old bilstein shocks and springs I used to have in it. Give Aaron at Import Monster a call, he'll sort you out and tell him I sent you, I might get a wristy out of it
  14. Most people have to get a little bit of snip snip happening to their reo's to make coolers fit... so choose carefully

Totally read that as GUNT, which seems fitting

Spotted an Bayside Blue R34 GTR heading citybound on the Calder at like 1:45pm today on the other side of the road. Not sure of the suburb, but it was a bit out of the city... near Calder Park maybe?
  17. Restriction is the turbo exhaust housing I believe... 3" JJR Stainless Bellmouth Dump/Front pipe 3" Highflow cat, which isn't even a 100 cell, I think its 200 or 300? and it was pretty much a straight though system with the Kaki R (2 mufflers) Nein... I do too many km's to be even more inconvenienced by needing to be picky about which servo I can go to... Would need to swap turbo to get the most out of the extra power as well...
  18. If you've lost the only key you've got for a car, they can afford to be pricey because they know people will pay... or the car is a throwaway...
  19. I always run a cat on the streets, its too much of a daily to risk not having one... plus white car turns brown very quickly Last dyno run had a decat in (just before Winton and DECA) and it didn't pick up any power in the top end (0.1kw difference) Midrange picked up a bit with Scotty's intake pipe though It's very nice to drive now
  20. +26mm on the rear shockworks
  21. Feel happy knowing that its got a good home now, and that you finally got to hear it on an RB... and that it sounds sick So much smoother and a little quieter than the Kaki R, really really happy with it... No drone on the Highway, and very minimal in any gear at low rpms Old mid muffler (Pencil line is 100mm): Before and After: How it looks: Tucks up nicely and doesn't hang down low anywhere:
  22. 1.5km... the exact time it takes to write up an EPA request
  23. Yeah Nismo 550s, mine have yellow plugs, but you can barely see them unless you get down there with a torch... When going to get it inspected at Vicroads, do I need to hide any other mods? Or will they only check the height and the VIN number to make sure its the right car?
  24. Can't even see your intake with the airbok over the top, it's not illegal as far as I know, but anything out of the ordinary is going to make them look further.... It's sprayed a nice satin black anyhow and is in shadow
  25. Na, highflowed R34 op6 housing, still on the factory manifold, everything looks stock just no heat shield over the turbo anymore because of the different actuator.
