  1. Hi Guys,

    Im selling my r33 skyline. Drives and handles great, im just after something different.

    The inside of the car is in really good condition, no holes and only very slight wear on the seats (hardly noticeable).

    Im looking for $6,200 or swap + cash for a 180 or s14.

    Located in Western Suburbs

    Details:

    1993 Gts-t Mspec

    Colour is Burgundy/Reddish

    135 XXX K's

    3" front/dump pipe

    3" Jasma Catback

    Bosch 040 Fuel Pump

    Turbosmart Manual Boost Controller

    Turbo came of a series 2 and has done around 90,000k's

    Handling:

    Front Rotors - DBA 4000 slotted

    Rear Rotors - DBA slotted

    EBC Green stuff pads all round

    Nismo Damper Adjustables (i think there the S-Tune Coilovers but not 100% sure)

    Extras:

    Have got piping for Stealth FMIC but the core was damaged.

    Stainless Manifold but its not fitted.

    Sony explod stereo with pioneer sub.

    The bonnet has got paint fade as the pictures will show, also the fuel pump needs to be replaced. The car starts fine and drives ok off boost, just as soon as it hits around 3psi it starts to cut fuel. Also front bar has a crack where the indicator is.

    Dont really have the time at the moment to fix up the above problems as im about to move homes.

  2. Hi Guys,

    A few weeks ago my fuel pump started buzzing way louder than usual and also gave a rattling sort of sound. You can feel it bog down as soon as i hit 1psi. Its showing all the signs of a busted fuel pump but the only reason i am questioning if it is something else is thats its a fairly new Bosch 040. It wouldnt even be more than 12months old and done less than 10,000k's. The car is only making around 180rwkw so i know thats not putting too much pressure on it.

    The car starts fine its only as soon as it starts making boost it feels like youve hit a wall (i havent been driving the car, this was only when it started happening).

    Any suggestions on what else it could be or has anyone else had a bad experience with bosch pumps dying way before they should have.

    Wasn't sure if this should be in the for sale section or not.

    I've been thinking bout putting my skyline up for but don't have a clue what it's worth. Details are below but it's got paint fade. I know I paid to much for it and redbook values it at 7.8 - 10g but there's heaps of similar ones around the 6g mark. Would be interested in your opinion of what it's worth.

    1993 r33 gts-t m spec.

    135000 ks (no logs)

    colour is burgundy but has paint fade on bonnet and rear driver side pillar.

    Usual Mods:

    3" jasma exhaust

    3" dump/front pipe

    Bosch 040 fuel pump

    nismo adjustable suspension

    DBA 4000 front rotors

    DBA slotted rear rotors

    ebc green stuff pads all round

    turbosmart t boost 7psi

    Also have a stainless exhaust manifold and a cooling pro stealth fmic kit not fitted.

    The inercooler is cracked but piping is fine car has made 177rwkw on 11psi with the fmic fitted.

    Im looking at selling my R33 GTS-T. It does have paint fade and i was planning and respraying it before i sold it but i thought i would see what people would offer without the respray.

    Details:

    Was told the car was a S1.5 M-Spec but not sure as it still has the sereis 1 motor.

    Mods:

    DBA 4000 Slotted Discs - Front

    Slotted - Rears.

    3" Front/Dump pipe (unsure what brand)

    3" Jasma Exhaust

    Cooling Pro Stealth front mount

    Turbosmart T-Boost (set at 10PSI)

    Super spark ignition coils

    NGK Iridium plugs

    stainless hi-flow manifold thats not fitted but included in sale.

    Excedy heavy duty clutch

    Inside is in pretty good nick. Steering wheel is worn but not too bad.

    Previous 2 owners were friends of mine and always used seat covers and didnt smoke in the car.

    It drives and handles well, the only problem ive had was with the turbo blew but since i replaced everything has been fine.

    This is just an EOI for the car as it is if no one is interested i will be giving the car a full respray and advertising for around $10,000.

    I will also consider trades for a S14 plus cash adjustment or Sr20 180sx

  5. FMIC (one of the cooling pro ones that use the factory piping), 3" catback, manual boost controller on 10pounds. Its pouring out blueish smoke from the exhaust when i rev to about 2500rpm and back off and theres a raspy kinda noise from the turbo.

  6. Hey Guys,

    So i was out visiting a friend this w/e and (from what ive read) blew my turbo. I was in 2nd gear at about 4000rpm when there was a pop then a raspy spool and smoke blowing everywhere when i backed off. The car makes no boost and feels like a slug.

    I just wanted to get your opinions on if it is a blown turbo or not.

    Also the car is at my friends house about 60k's away from where i live and i will be interstate for the next 2 weeks and dont really want to leave parked on the side of the street for that long. I know its a stupid idea and can cause damage but dont really have much choice, would it be ok to drive home shifting gears before the turbo would usually start spooling. How much damage would it be causing?

    Ive had an alpine Type R 12"sub in a ported JL Audio box lyin around for a while so im deciding to sell it.

    I bought it about 6 months ago but upgraded my stereo so it was only used for about 4.

    Im asking for $165 but throw me an offer as i want it gone.

  8. buy my r32, i wasnt planning to sell it but just bought a house and need to focus on that at the moment.

    i have been setting it up for drift, but havent actually drifted it.. and with oran park closing down, im turning my attention away fom drift and more to superlap, so a gtr build up is in the planning.

    cusco coilovers, hicas bar, cradle bushes, all coolant lines, radiator and thermostat, waterpump replaced, head pulled off and checked, replaced head gasket, safc 2, 300zx afm, kakimoto turbo back exhaust, hdi fmic, 122000kms, 100000km service done, bought as a complete stocker in october 08, sept 09 rego.

    its in your price range :D

    pm me if your interested at all.. im happy to hang on to it for a while, when it sells it sells. it wont be getting driven much.

    Lol, still gotta sell my car buy a GTR and then wait a few more months till i have enough for a drift project, thanks anyways though.

    could be what your after though maybe a bit over the top i dont know, it looks like the brakes, suspension and engine are all taken care of for ya.

    anyway some very helpful suggestions in here, i just thought this sounded like what you might be interested in and around your price range :)

    Yeah ive had a look on a few forums and carsales. Seen a couple of things that are interesting just not in a position to buy for a few months (licence is on vacation). Was just interested in what people would recomend so i could figure out how much i need to save also was thinkin maybe s15 and use as a daily/drifter but the 20g+ price and the thought of bending it dont go to well.
