My rb20 made 275 rwhp with a gt-rs @ 18psi, get it tuned to a set value then leave it at that. Don't go playing with the boost without getting it tuned dont want it running too lean.

Id say just meet up where that antilag one was meant to be, heaps of people will still show just bring some maps and your good to go.

If the Spring in the BoV is weak just means it opens easier and sounds different? Either way there is much debate whether a BoV or no BoV can damage the turbo... but really nothing to worry about Dont see how Back Pressure from throttle body can cause a backfire tho? just give you turbo flutter...shouldnt be any backfires. besides they are cool

Pulled Over 5 times in 6 months... #1. Chriped 2nd Undercovers behind me (lol fail), pop bonnet, the whole commodore and skyline drives make up crash statistics. let me go #2.Behind me following, i was just cruising, pulled me up because my Back P plate had fallen onto the rear shelf. Yellow sticker for just about everything legal apart front the Big shiny atmos BoV which they didnt write on the list (even wrote my handbrake came up too high) Oh and he fined me for my plate having clearly fallen down... cops #3. Night, seen them pass, throw a U-turn, i pull over into the shops just as they throw thier lights on. Back P Plate had fallen down yet Again so im expecting another fine. Young bloke RBT warns me that others would have fined me for it. let me go #4. Booted it in 1st Undercovers at the servo fueling up heard me so as i pulled into the servo yelled and pointed then cam up license check ra ra ra said i could get fined for my smelly tree hanging off the Rear veiw mirror. #5. Mate rings me up to pick him up in the middle of bunbury town saturday night all the clubs n pubs going off. Cops pull me over casue they heard my stereo said they could do me for noise pollution. I was gobsmacked but didnt say anything anyway let me on my way with a nice yellow sticker for atmos BoV

I got an Apexi SAFC for sale, not too sure what the difference between I & II are, very minimal i think I installed mine myself just using the step by step directions that a fellow SAU member posted up. very simple took about 30min Got mine tuned at Ovaboost for $200

My turbo was pretty much F***** when i took it out shaft play all over the place and other shit, blew no smoke at all just made a really bad whine

^ Same with me i had my Skyline on my L's and now i'm on my P's i still have it. saying people need to learn in low powered cars first is stupid, the way you learn is by doing something so the secnario will be completley different if you learnt in a hyandai exel then got a skyline/silvia thinking they know how to handle it until they get in that situation and it is totally different because i know my skyline handles differently to every other car, even other skylines, it's about being able to control the car your driving and every car is different (maybe not commodores but you get the idea) so until you get in it and learn IN it then you have never fully learnt.

yeah thats most likely the problem, make sure you connected the afm wires in series with the safc - ecu all the others you can just tap off.

If you have a d-jerto PFC then the afm wouldn't affect the idle like that, but if its not then yeah sounds like the afm, just give it a spray with some contact cleaner, and if that doesnt help then yeah ask another member to borrow theirs to help diagnose the problem, i wont mind you using mine just im not able to get back till wednesday, but give that a try to start with

f**k that off, i worked and saved for 6 months straight so when the time came when i got my P's i had a nice car, sure it's turbo'd but i didnt buy it because of that, it looked good drove well and i worked hard for it, same goes for even hsv owners, they worked hard to get their v8 commonbomb but its that sense of entitlement i was looking for, not the power otherwise i would have brought a shitty shell with an engine and slammed a highmount on it with the money i had. my 2c not every P Plater is a hoon Even less own a high-performance car

its ok thanks anyway mate, i got a new one from greddy, still the same problem just ended up buying a whole new EBC works well now, just an expensive find >.>
