  1. can you tell me what bhp this was running on your rb26, as am thinking of getting one for my rb30/26 build thx
  2. i got one off ebay aus it was a standard single but bugsy fabrication in aus made a v peice that bolts straight into the origanal oil drain hole on the rb30
  3. on loking at those photos i would be inclind to get a new one, as the crack in the rubber is rather a long way round, and only risking the harmonics off the crank, to cause to much vibration on the oil pump. just my thought,
  4. thanks for the help
  5. i am currently building a rb30/26, looking for 700 bhp what holset turbo would be best, HX40 OR HX35 ENGINE IS ALL FORGED internals
  6. has anyone used these turbos T70 TURBO VL MANIFOLD 50MM WASTEGATE sold on ebay. just wondering if that might be better than my hks2530
  7. HAVE A SET OF THESE FOR SALE, straight plug in and good for 700bhp, one has had a hairline crack repaird were it joines to the filters , dosent affect the performance, hence the price in sterling £300 shipping to aus will be £30 only selling as gone de jetro
  8. thanks for the heads up on the plate, ( proengins) well had a go at making a wedge, first attempt nearly lost my finger, with the grinder. but got there in the end, god 2mm one side 10mm the other side then drill out the center to fit over the thread. but all on now and straight, all gaps the same to water pump studs 4mm, so well chuffed. piccy
  9. tanks for the info, was told this is a series 2 block , as its got all the oil feeds for the turbo , oh well have to make something up then, just an another niggle to sort out. thanks again
  10. right i knew everything was going to smooth in my build, the problem i have is this , i have moved the cam tensoiner to above the water pump, BUT THE LOWER ONE IN STANDARD PLACE IS PROBLEM When i bolt the idler pully on to the block its at an angle, there seems to be a raised bit causing it, any thoughts on what this raised bit is or can i just grind it down, some pics
  11. i would but i have these and have been fully recond, matched to mines dump pipes and tomie manifolds,
  12. right guys nearing the end of my build,, question is has anyone used hks2530 on there rb3026 build, plus what power can rb30 rods take, not for my engine as i have forged, but a freind is doing a cheap build with totaly standard bottom end.
  13. another question, can i bore a rb 30 out from 86mm to 87.5 as have seen on a thread somewhere that the bores split on to much boost.
