  1. Mine doesn't have it and its a glaring omission from an otherwise amazing car. Keep looking for one that has cruise, as I spoke to Chris and it is over $1000 to get it done aftermarket....
  2. Go through a credit union. They offer lower rates than the big financiers and more flexible loan options. eg I've had two car loans (including my current v36) through LCU because of their low setup fee, low interest rate, and no penalty for paying out the loan early.
  3. Explain to me why any reasonable insurance company would insure a car for more than its worth? That is just INVITING fraud to happen.
  4. If you're that keen for an upgrade maybe look at the GTMPOWER or STILLEN options. There are some pretty crazy supercharger/turbo kits.
  5. Just spotted and waved at the Silver v36 heading up onto Victoria Rd. First v36 I've seen in Sydney (besides my own!).
  6. Yeah I just burn mp3s to a CD and pop that in. The drive can also read DVDs, so it might be possible to burn the MP3s to a dvd-r and play off that. Haven't tested it but don't see why it wouldn't work.
  7. How does it ride Loz? Mine is pretty harsh on 20's and its not even that low!
  8. Regardless of what your fuel gauge displays, it would be much more logical to reset your trip meter next time you fill up so you get more accurate data. Then when you fill up AFTER that, you'll know how much fuel you used and how many kilometres you drove. That's much more useful information (eg 11L/100M) than "I get 400km on a tank". You may find that you are only filling 60 litres of an 80 litre tank and are getting the same fuel economy as everyone else.
  9. Lloyds of London $1888 Age: 33 2007 V36 Coupe Agreed value: 47.5k
  10. I really need to go through those English manuals. I just fumbled around in mine until I was able to delete the previous owners J-pop and classical music off the musicbox. I really like the button that makes a japanese woman speak to me. I'm not sure what she's saying, but its very soothing.
  11. Loz doesn't post much here. A pity since he seems to be the furthest down the road with mods and translations.
  12. 5 months and its finally here The search for my v36 started in January. I was pretty particular about what I wanted. I found the car I wanted in April and bought it at auction the same week. Car arrived in May. Quarantine and Compliance through to June. Registered and picked up today. Now onto the translations....
  13. Your taste in styling is great loz. Keep us updated.
  14. Weird. Here's a direct link http://www.users.on.net/~madmike/images/posts/IMG_1612.JPG
  15. Source of pic: inside the back cover of HyperREV vol. 137 V35/V36 There is an ad for Burnout, and in the fine print they say "WHEEL SPECIAL THANKS RAYS co. ltd." I've searched the Rays site and cannot find the same wheel. Click for 2.24MB version if you want some more detail. Note that in the magazine image I cannot make out the writing on the wheel itself.
  16. 33, clean driving record, sydney inner west postcode 2007 370GT Type SP agreed value $47.5k Shannons: $3032 / $500 Just car: $2470 / $800 Famous: $2015 / $600 wtf @ shannons Why are they so off the mark?
  17. It's all highway and normal roads to get there. I don't see why you'd have to worry about your suspension unless you go flying through a dip and bottom out. I'd suggest breaking the trip up though. Sydney to Jindy is a pretty long drive to do in one day. There are also a lot of cops on that route, so don't be silly.
